Zero. I don't get the hype.
1.) It's HP. I don't buy anything HP because I have experience with their electronics and they generally suck.
2.) It's a discontinued item. This means what you have now is it. No updates, no bug fixes, no app store down the line, no nothing.
3.)Tablet computing is en vogue because Apple says so. I like my droid, but it at least has a slide out keyboard. I would almost certainly play with the thing for a week and never touch it again because it'd be annoying as hell. The only thing I would consider a touchpad for is reading, but I have a kindle.
4.) Absolutely NO resale value. Not that I generally resell my electronic purchases, but if the market is flooded with them, and it sucks, they will resell for $50 in a few months. Maybe I'll pick one up then. I doubt it.



It really seems to me this is just "sale fever" like Black Friday.

I saw the horse pic and I swear if there had been a clown or a monkey with cymbals I would have slept outside. Cold I could just see waking up to seeing that horse rocking with some Chuckie like doll riding it...

I am set with the touchpad for being able to use as a reader. Hell, at t$99 bucks it can even be a digital frame. Yep, I need to dig into what this can do because I don't know.
