1. I just turned 28 6 days ago!
2. My parents are both from India, my wife's parents are both from Pakistan, and we were both born and raised in America (hmmm, that may be three things).
3. My wife and I are the same age, have known each other since we were both 8 years old, and did not have an arranged marriage.
4. I have a 5 month old son that has made me realize that parents will always love their children more than their children love them.
5. I am a proud practicing Muslim and never thought twice about letting people know that until 9/11 and the changes in our country and around the world since then.
6. I do not have a myspace or facebook account and may be the only 28 year old left in the country with neither.
7. I love to golf and play basketball.
8. I skipped 1st grade. It's been all downhill from there.
9. I drive a Mazdaspeed 3 and love it!
10. I have a goal to have my own business but do not know what type of business I want to own.
Scary stuff if you think about it and where it could have put me.
Thankfully I got bored one night and happened upon the mesage boards. My life has been nothing but superb ever since. Dh knows my past and says that he wishes he knew me way back when so he could have kept me from getting hurt so many times. But since he didn't all he can do now is put me on a pedestal and make sure I am treated like nothing but a princess.
Instead of names, broken bones and bruises I get showered with hugs, kisses and I love you's all day.
Even if dh rolls over in the middle of the night he will kiss me and tell me he loves me.
The dog thing comes from being attacked by a pit bull when I was 8.
Scary stuff if you think about it and where it could have put me.
