Anyone else experiencing Amazon Prime packages taking 3 to 5 days to arrive? I actually pay for Prime, & my packages rarely arrive in 2 days lately. Some of them have taken 5 days or more to arrive. When I check out, it says Prime 2 day shipping. I'm starting to wonder if they've given away so many memberships that they've cut back on the shipping speed to save money. I'm really getting annoyed. I think it's time to contact them.

the subscribe & save is the one they have cheaped out on. iirc, they used to ship 2 days with prime. now s&s only ship standard.

This is happening on a lot of my packages not just S&S. I've had video games, clothing, accessories, etc. take up to 5 days to arrive. The worse is the cologne I bought DH. I bought it on 11/21 & it has an expected delivery date of 12/1. It showed that it would ship via Prime shipping.

Speaking of Amazon & video games, I ordered my DH Goldeneye 007 for $39.99 at Amazon yesterday. Now, I see it's supposed to be $29.99 on BF. Facepalm

I meant to tell everyone earlier...all the small EDPs are $25 online also. In for two of them...maybe more and another BF tote. Thanks for the review of the fashion show tee. I only get them if I am ordering anyway.

Are any of the items you are ordering Subscribe & Save? if so, even though it may say Prime shipping, they will take longer -- not sure why.

Oops -- I am tardy -- I see you already responded about that. Are any sold by 3rd party sellers, but fulfilled by Amazon? Maybe call or email them and ask why since you are paying for a service that should be 2-day and that is not what you are getting.

I ordered a S&S with my Prime and it said standard shipping. I contacted them and they said only the first S&S actually ships 2-day as a courtesy and the rest after that are standard ship.. Confused
Why have Prime if I can't use it??

I have always got package with prime in 2 days max. Sometimes I order tonight and get it tomorrow noon Big Grin BUT I haven't ordered anything lately. I must plan to order thing s i need in well advance then.

With student account my prime is free Whee

i miss prime! since you're paying for the service, you should definitely be getting your packages in 2 days. amazon most likely will refund you part of the price of prime or extend your membership? they have pretty good customer service Smilie

as for thanksgiving plans, my family is not cooking the big meal. we're headed to a family friend's house, but it'll be a big potluck with very non-traditional thanksgiving food. i'm a little disappointed because i LOVE thanksgiving food. i hope everyone enjoys the holidays hug

anni--i saw a second code for hautelook for $25 off $50 (it expired after that first code i shared, but not sure exactly when). i just don't remember where i saw it, but i'll keep looking.

GH- We pay for prime too and my most recent order took a bit longer than I'd like. I placed the order on the 17th and it didn't arrive until last night (the 22nd). At first I thought that maybe it was taking longer because it was a very fragile package (martini glasses!)...but now I'm thinking that maybe the service really is just slow. DH orders a lot of video games and they usually seem to arrive quick.




p.s. I'm super annoyed with American Eagle, and I have to rant. I had my eye on this cute furry hat. I went to the store today to try and find it, but I couldn't. I asked the sales associate, but he was rude and acted like he couldn't be bothered to help me find it. On my way out, I noticed there was 1 in the window display but I was too irritated to go back in and ask him to get it for me. Plus, I didn't want to give them my business so I decided I would just order it online tonight. (FS + 40% off). Well, of course- I just went to check out and the hat is OOS in the color I wanted. :-( WAHHHH!! I wanted ivory...brown is in stock but I think it will look really stupid because it's the same color as my hair. The ivory was SO cute and luxe looking! I dunno what to do.
