Review on Ruched Cotton Cowlneck Sweater [victoriassecret.com]: Got it in Sugar Baby. The color is very cute, true to what is shown in the swatch (in my monitor at least). I'm 5'3ish and the length is right for me, it doesn't ride up much, despite the ruching. Speaking of the ruching, I think it's very flattering. It doesn't accentuate my tummy. The only thing is that it's so thin!! I was expecting more coverage. It doesn't show through, although the color helps. Also it has unfinished edges. True to size.

My family is really small. I never really thought I would ever leave Chicago, but I did for my Ph.D., and I'll likely have to move again for a job (thought I like MN). My parents love MN (and my bf is from here), so we'll see. I'd like to stay in the midwest. Plus, if I ever have kids someday, I know they'd like to be around them (as I'm sure you would with your son).

I think my child will be an only child too. I can see me wanting to be close to him. My mother is just annoying. She is retired and travels a lot. I'm happy that she is having a good time but she expects us to inconvenience ourselves around her vacays when our lives revolve around work and kid activities. She has asked me 10 times I know to come to her house friday night in al. I've told her it's impossible because I don't leave mo until 3:30 because of ds's school. We have a wedding this weekend so I'm leaving after school. It's just stuff like that. It is like she doesn't respect me and my sister. She'll badger us about it knowing we have other stuff going on. I have this weird thing about trying to please my parents so it stresses me out to say no. I've tried to explain to her that she stresses me out asking me to do stuff that I can not over and over and she doesn't get it. I know she is also manipulative.

Why do they do that? It's so annoying. I definitely like the first top better. They're a little different. The first one isn't quite as loose, & the sleeves aren't as long.

the q this week says 'limit 1 fb fan coupon per guest'... so i think my chances of getting 2 to apply are slim. oh well...

Might take advantage of the FS on $25 to use up some $10 SRCs. Having a crappy day today. Sorry, but I need to vent--

I haven't really been sleeping because I'm so stressed out with school (finals start on Tuesday and I have a huge case study to complete plus 3 papers, a course portfolio, an exam, and I still have to create a final exam for the undergrad course I'm teaching). So I'm exhausted, overwhelmed, and just got my period so I'm super emotional and irritable.

My mom had a deal with me since October that if I lost 20 lbs. by December, she'd purchase a half season's worth of AHL hockey tickets for BF and I to use starting in January. It's really expensive--like $560--but she was going to split it with my grandmother so it wouldn't be as much. And she offered!

I'm 2 lbs. below my goal (so I've lost 18 lbs.), so no tickets. I know a deal's a deal, but I'm so stressed and worked so hard to lose the weight and it's like it doesn't even matter because it's 18 lbs. and not twenty. I'm just frustrated that there's next to no acknowledgment because it's not the perfect "20 lbs." since October. It's not as though I'm morbidly obese--I'm between a size 6 and 8. And I really wanted the tickets. I tried SO hard but you can't just "make" the weight come off. My dad doesn't think it's a big deal, either--he says I don't look any different, which is ridiculous--but his metabolism is awesome and he's never had to work to lose weight in his life like my mom and I do. So he doesn't get it. (I hope this doesn't make me sound like a brat--I did work really hard.)

I'm just disappointed in myself and anxious with everything else on top of it. I haven't had a "good cry" all semester long, so I think I need it, but now I'm all sniffly and headache-y and still have all this work to do. I just want it to be Christmas. I'm so tired of being exhausted and running on fumes all the time.

Ccjade - Dentists will prefer not to do root canal or any dental work during pregnancy, iirc esp during 2nd trimester. Especially those that involve xray. It is safe though, but it is better to be safer. If you can tolerate, your dentist will probably not touch it. I had dental work and xray done though, i got the ok of my ob-gyn friend.

Good idea. I may duplicate your order. I wear sleep/lounge pants year around. I could probably use some shorts for summer.
