Very true, but in my letter, I'd probably write something "after consulting with legal counsel." That will scare the shit out of them. I'm kind of annoyed and I swear I read the whole thing and that's not what it stated, but I think I was biased, based on what HR told me. I just won't speak to HR about this matter and write a draft letter to run by you girls.

I usually don't sign anything ever, but HR glared at me and said "are you not going to sign it?" And I said "no" and she was like "you're not admitting to any liability."

She even told me to sign the day of.

So they'll get what they deserve. I'm wondering if there will be any backlash though after I go through with all this...Hm...

I'm debating if I should wait to throw down with this, AFTER I get a new job, and am ready to leave? Leave them in the dust!! Any thoughts?
I work for a lawyer (family law and criminal defense) and we know many other attorneys that work in this field. Most attorneys should offer you a free consultation (no obligation to hire them if you don't like them).

The way we work is: Setup an appointment, come in with all your documents, talk about the whole ordeal, and leave the office knowing what the next step is.
My boss always tells the client at the end, "If you're like me, you're gonna get 10 minutes down the road and say 'oh, why didn't I ask this?' so please call back and we can talk over the phone."

Your best bet is to do something like this and see what the attorney advises you to do. I understand not all attorneys are honest, and a lot of them are like salesmen, but believe me, if my attorney was like that, I wouldn't be working for him anymore.

In the past, we've had people come in with a civil matter and we offer to write a letter on their behalf. Usually this scars the SH*T out of them (respondent) and the whole thing gets resolved. Usually we charge about $100 to do this (includes followup paperwork).

Me likey nod I used to be law suit shy, like most people, but in the last 2 years, I've collected large monetary amounts because I got a lawyer for 2 separate issues where I felt like 'just letting it go.' One issue was employer-related. Anyway, meeting lawyers can be aggravating because it's like first dates. But it's worth looking for the one that is informative & meshes with your personality.

Thanks for telling us about this again Smilie
Thanks for pointing out the bomber jacket Smilie

I got my Tulle order yesterday. I bought 2 sweaters and a hat. All of it is very cute and while the sweaters aren't super thick they seem to be good quality! I like.Big Grin

I'm thinking about hitting the mall today to get it allllll taken care of. But it'll probably be crazy since it's Friday, right? Do you think Tuesday morning will be calmer?

Definitely. I normally go on weekday mornings. It's so much nicer. I hate a crowded mall.

Dang it! Ugh I feel like mall-ing today, but I can't deal with crowds. My SAs were saying the store might stack srcs if I go at a crowded time. I was like guess I won't be stacking then!

You know what's weird though - when I mall on a weekday morning & see teens everywhere! WTH is that?! I know homeschooling exists, but I think the vast majority of households don't homeschool Confused

I don't see many kids on weekdays unless it is the summer. Then they're out. On a Friday night this close to Christmas, the malls will probably be crazy.

My mall is 1 of the biggest in the country, so it attracts lots of people but I still don't understand what kids are doing there during school hours. Whatever happened to the truancy patrol lol. I want the truancy patrol!

Yep they sent a shipping confirmation and they used UPS and it took 6 days to get here.

I have issues with returns too but sometimes I just don't return things and never end up wearing them.nod

Right now I have an Express shirt that I bought in one size and color but I thought it was a little tight and a little plain so I went and exchanged it for a bigger size in another color.....well now I want the original one back! This one is too big because the material is stretchier and the stripes are funky on the arms in a way that I didn't notice.

I am dreading going to the Mall of Louisiana on Saturday, but I need to go return some items to Sephora and that is the closest one. I HATE people, especially now that I am prego laugh out loud

I justify buying for me because I bought for others too laugh out loud

One for you...three for me Smilie
