I think I'm done with my Christmas shopping, and I think I'm out of src's!

I've got 3 more gifts to buy, but I can't get those online. I finished early this year, & don't know what to do with myself now. I keep buying little things, just to keep shopping. My DH & DS have a ridiculous amount of gifts, because it just doesn't seem right to not be shopping for Christmas now.

I keep checking SD in between and i thought may be all are busy wiht x-mas shopping.

Sorry to my SS your gift is not shipped yet. I thought I will manage it on time but finally i couldn't with studies and all I am done with all the shopping though, I will pack,print label and ship tomorrow and it will be out Monday morning.

How is everyone else doing with SS gifts? Am I the not the only one who is late?

Dh may want to go pick out ds some stuff. He's been in Texas since thanksgiving. He said he wanted to get him some baseball stuff and I have no clue about that.

We don't buy for friends either. We have a lot of family to buy for. I had to stop buying for friends a long time ago. We couldn't afford to buy for everyone. TBH, other than my sisters, you all are probably my closest friends now. Is that sad or what?

He probably wants to feel like he participated in getting the gifts too. My DH likes to get a thing or two himself, so he feels like he helped with DS's gifts. Santa is DH's big thing. He always wants to help with that. Yes, our 19 yr. old still gets a gift from Santa.

i don't buy for my siblings with kids, coz i buy for their kids. so, just the kids + my parents.

this is the same for me too. i'm ok with it most of the times because i have my hands full with dh and kids anyway. sometimes, it makes me sad, but not too much

Just checked my online account and I have earned 81 points this month, along with 184 bonus points. I did not buy any bras. Anyone know of any promos going on?

to add to all the mom rants in here, i just have to say - i love my mom but boy is she impossible to please - and after a day i'm already super annoyed. :lo l: i let my mom know that dbf and i were planning to get married next year. i thought this would be big (happy) news to her and she'd squeal with excitement. instead, she frowned and said 'oh, i wanted it to be this year'. i swear, i can never please her! as if i could do it this year... there's 15 days left in the year.
... this is why i never tell her anything. i never get any positive feedback.

Ok girls- I need to vent.

Last Thursday my DH found this puppy wandering around in the road outside our house. It had a collar on, but no tag. Of course, he fell in love with it, but he called Animal Services because he wanted to give the owners a fair chance to find their dog. We told animal services that if the owners didn't pick him up in the allotted 5 days, we would like to adopt him. After the 5 days, we received a call that we could adopt him, but legally he could not be released to us until he was neutered, which would be $500. The alternative was that we could let him go to LollyPop Farms (which is a non-profit animal shelter) where they would make sure he was healthy and neuter him. We would only have to pay the adoption fee of $130. The Animal Services Officer promised us that he would leave our info at LollyPop Farms to make sure that they wouldn't put him up for adoption. We've called every day since Wed to try and get info on the dog and find out when he will be ready to picked up, and NO ONE will give us any info. It's incredibly frustrating. One woman actually told us to check the website every day to see when he is available for adoption. But we don't even want him to make it to the website because then someone else will adopt him! I don't know why they can't tell us that they have the dog and an approximate date when we can pick him up. DH is really upset about it and it's very frustrating. I dunno what to do.... We are thinking about just driving there sometime this weekend, and demanding that someone give us answers. :-(

I sometimes feel I desperately need a gf to hang out, chitchat and go shopping with rest of the times I am busy with studies and I thought going to school will help make good friends but now i feel in business studies we have most of 40+ people who are already busy with their own life so no such friends there for me. There are some young college students as well but i think they might be thinking me as old There is just no-one like me ,not a single person except my own DH in my class
