Im sorry to hear about your package. I have never had a package lost or stolen before either. I think though that the Fedex guy might have delivered it to the wrong house though, because we had an Amazon package from ups still there when we got home. It never happened to me before either, atleast it wasn't a big thing but left a bitter taste in my mouth. I didn't call because ups guy wrote in tracking that he met me(which he does usually) I dont want him to be responsible since it is not his fault.

I try to look on the brighter side of things when these things happen...at least you were able to afford to order the package, and even though it is very very wrong, maybe the person who stole it had no other option to give a gift to someone.

I know it never will make it right, and I still get mad, but I guess it helps me rationalize people's behavior.

I have theRuched Print Dress [victoriassecret.com] and it is similar to the plain ruched dress. I'm pretty fair-skinned and this print makes me look super tan. It's also a little funky, DH thinks it looks like someone spilled coffee me Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Watch the seams on this one- b/c it is a print, I can see that the seam is pulled (lighter in color, looks like it was stretched at some point). I don't notice this on the other ones that aren't prints.
I also have the Ruched Dress [victoriassecret.com] in lignon berry heather and dark olive. It is a cute dress ( I did buy it 3 times laugh out loud ). The ruching is tricky, on some it lays just right, while on others I'm constantly pulling at it, trying to get it to lay right, and another the hem is uneven. It is cute, fairly short - but I don't think it will ride up much.
The thickness of either of these dresses does not say "sweaterdress" to me (It's more like t-shirt material), but that is what they are listed under. Dontknow

Merino Ruched turtleneck sweaterdress [victoriassecret.com] review: I got this in a size small and in heather grey. It is not as itchy as the merino sweater they used to have, but it is still a little itchy. I'm returning it because there are unruched strips down the sides that somehow won't hug my body. They make it look like I have no waist. RETURN

my mom is just a debbie downer/very negative. she later tried to make an excuse about why she was so negative, but her excuse didn't really make any logical sense. she's just like that... she needs time to process it i guess. and she's been on my case about going dress-shopping here. Nono sooo annoying... i mean, ideally i would look here just to get a feel for it and maybe i'd actually find something i'd like. but it's too soon for that, and i didn't want to spend my vacay dress-shopping and feeling pressured to find one before i leave.

food has definitely been yummy tho!

also wanted to say how annoying it is that i leave for a week, and right when i leave, i sell stuff on ebay. this happened when i went to europe too... it's just such a pain and i feel bad for having to ship late even tho the listing specifically says that i will be out of town until after xmas. now i have 2 orders waiting to be shipped.

As women, we tend to take on more than we should and to feel badly about things we did not cause or cannot control.

Try to take time to reflect on things that do not make you feel positive and let it/them go. We have one life. Let's live it the way we want to...not the way others may want to place on us. If we are in a good place, it will trickle down to the ones who matter to us.
