I got the first part of my SS gift today! That's right - the FIRST part. My gift is arriving in THREE parts! I don't know who my SS is yet, but she's awesome. I've only tried the Intense Dark ones so far and they're delicious. I dark chocolate!

Edit: Just tried the caramel ones. Someone needs to take these things away before I eat them all

Did anyone order the sequin makeup bag using code GLAMON? I did...thought it was a good deal. And though it says not valid on clearance purchases, it worked with my SAS bra. Plus I like the Gorgeous fragrance and those new dazzling lip glosses. If not for those items, I definitely would not have jumped.

I also got one! I love the gorgeous fragrance as well, and the little cosmetic bag matches the sequin bag I got on Saturday! I was so excited to see that! I used the glamon code and the one for $10 off an angel bra. It was only like $12 OOP shipped for the bra and bag after SRC!

Did anyone ever search their online return from store with the UPS tracking and nothing's showed up? It's been 3 days for me already and I'm getting worried. I know with the holiday rush, maybe it's a little later, but EEK!

By the way, I just got an email from VS customer service about my last crappy order experience. I cannot believe this, they are saying that they will send me a $35 e-gift card within 2 days. :o mg: I'm pretty surprised, they usually don't do anything. Of course, we'll see if I get it...

My hubby has the opportunity to work offshore, and he continually turns it down, even though it is well over 2 times the money he makes now.
I've been so blessed with an amazing husband who is so caring and nurturing, he will do anything for me and thinks the sun rises and sets on my ass. (It is big enough right now ) I'm getting to be really excited about everything now – and I won't have anyone to help me either after. I have heard a few people say it is definitely a good idea to let the nurses take them to the nursery at night, I probably will fight myself and allow them to, so I can be rested when I get home. After reading your story – it makes me smile so much and really excites me, thank you for sharing

It is definitely hard on us with him being out of town so much. He loves his job so I try to be supportive. Before ds I would go with him, but we have to stay behind because of ds's schooling now. Does your hubby work in the oil industry?

Your welcome. PM me any time, I am sure you can tell but I don't mind sharing & I have to much baby advice I've had three so I have some experience.

My DH works in the automotive industry with off-road events building the courses and setting up the events. He used to be gone 2 weeks of every month on average every year. Then the economy crashed and the automotive industry was hard hit. They stopped doing a lot of the events & sponsorships.

I hated having DH gone so much, I would be a total insomniac when he was gone. When he is gone every little sound at night & I'm The industry is picking back up a bit so he does a handful of events a year.

We did used to go with him and travel all over, then when the kids started school that ended.

I am pretty sure you will not want them to take the baby to the nursery for the night. You have spent 9 months thinking about this little person and then you have finally just met. But you really do need the sleep to help your body recover. The plus side of it is the nurses are there at all times to help you how ever you need so as soon as you wake up or if you can't sleep you just push a little button & they can bring your baby back at any time.


I hear ya girl! I go through the same thing just not as often as before. It is hard but I try to think of the military families and I don't know how they handle it at all. I can't even imagine how much I would be freaking out worrying if he was safe every minute of every day. And they are gone for such long periods of time too

You're right. I'd be scared to death if he was in the middle east. I have a family member who's hubby is in afghanistan right now.

I get scared when I'm by myself too. I stay up until I'm exhausted and then wake up when I hear sounds.
