i'll probably do this from now on. it just piled up on me.

are stores good with not questioning the gwp's?
The stores don't ask anything about gwp, just scan the invoice and the barcodes from the items you are returning.

What is Estee Lauder's return policy if you return something you got samples with?

That is my nightmare. T-bear, you're in CA too... I think they've been shorting our returns on sales tax.
What!? Really? I need to check this. I never check the sales tax on my returns.
Quote from PordaPoddy :
I think I might wait until I find a box big enough to fit all 3 boxes worth of stuff in it. That gets tricky b/c the structural integrity of the box is questionable once it reaches a certain size. laugh out loud
Bonk Are they going to need to forklift your returns?!
Quote from annicus :
ugh this is my problem right now. dbf complains about my multiple boxes so i usually break them down and recycle them shortly after i receive them. which is fine except for when i need a big one to send back vs returns... the box i was *going* to use is overflowing already so i need to find a new one. Frown
Is it possible to put your boxes in one another? So that it kinda reduces space? I toss all my boxes in the recycle immediately too. Or maybe reason with him for an area to store the boxes?

I have stuffs from a year back needs to be send back - i keep delaying it Dontknow why !
Bonk Return them!! You might exceed the timeline or something and then they can't find your order and then short you money!!

Hey, I moved too. No excuses, we can do this!
Oooooh. Interesting, I had never thought of that. It looks so stupid on my 1-item order returns- they could clearly just return the entire amount to me, but instead recalculate at the new tax rate (system probably automatically does that). Lame. Thanks for the insight

Hoard those things! Someone should Fleabay giant boxes under the title "Stick it to VS return boxes". I'm not sure yours would be big enough. Remember the last box I sent you with stuff for your DS's ex-GF? That's only approaching the size I would need. Dresses, jackets, ginormous bras... so bulky, ugh
Our DS wanted stackable milk crates to put his books in, so we've got boxes big enough to put a Christmas tree in. We've got about every size imaginable. shake head I had a horrible time wrestling some of the boxes to wrap them.

Quote from tarribear :
I did not plan on returning these items, just realized I really don't need/want them or I stored them for a gift and the person I got them for is a smaller size now. So I think from now on I have a 30- 60 day return it by policy at the latest because I should know by then if I really want it or if my dd's really want it.

I think I was buying to much and now I have stopped unless it is free
I do the same thing. I buy stuff & keep it intending to wear it. My last big return was stuff I had bought intending to wear, but still hadn't worn in a year or 2. I feel if it's still in the bag a year later I'm probably not going to wear it.

I'm not sure. Maybe, they thought I placed too many orders. They may have thought I was getting too many freebies too. At the time, I was buying all our drugstore items & most of my beauty items there, & only bought stuff that included GWPs or coupons. They started cancelling every order I made at drugstore.com or beauty.com regardless of what was in the order. It actually saved me money. Now, I only buy what we really need, instead of buying whatever had a GWP or good coupon. It stinks that I could be using Shoprunner there now though.

The store is just like it you took it to UPS, but they have to scan the invoice barcode, then the item bag barcode and then put them in the white bag with the computer print out and seal it up and put it in the big pink bag that has a UPS mailing label on it. No questions asked.

anyone?
I don't think they care if you keep them.

i flatten them and hide them behind stuff, i.e. behind bookshelves, in the closet, etc. but my problem is, i forgot what i have hidden in my under-the-stairs closet. i should go and see if any of those boxes will be better for vs returns. but most i've already taken to recycling (from last month - i haven't ordered much this month surprisingly!).

it's sad kuz i JUST sent in a box of returns last month. i'm pathetic.

i feel like going to the store as soon as i decide to return. it's just not possible for me now in the middle of nowhere just to drive to stores anytime.
i have multiple orders from sephora that i'm wavering on. and after hearing stories of stores not allowing too much $ value in returns, i'm going to break them up so they don't ask. i was super busy with work last week so i couldn't do anything - i just started this week to get through my returns pile! i try to be good but i don't go to the mall that much, and it's not on my way home from work or anything so i just get lazy.

i think i am returning my naked2 today.

drugstore.com also has one household/coupon rule and they also state there it doesn't matter if you have several accounts, it's one per household. for some reason i just don't try using another account. it's their loss. i should probably stick to that, i'm enjoying drugstore.com with shoprunner right now.

wow, sounds like at least 2 ppl over on the sephora thread said they got 'blacklisted' by sephora for using too many BI/VIB gc's. but neither of them said it had anything to do with returns. just too many orders on 1 acct. they seem to think it's linked to your computer. hopefully that is true - i am equal opportunity and order from all my computers! laugh out loud (i have like 4 that i regularly use... not counting dbf's)

the new person didn't say how many but she said she bought too many of those gc's off ebay. so it sounds like she made a lot (like 4 orders a day).

the other person said she only made 2 or 3 orders! EEK! maybe that was a fluke... idk.

I remember them canceling orders before but never blacklisting. I only made 3-4 this year. They were all fine.

The one used two of the email gc of 15 or 20 off. The other one that did the 4 orders a day, maybe they thought she is reselling stuff. I don't get why you would ban someone for ordering a lot if they don't return a lot.
