i find that diet is a major factor in weight loss anyway - it wouldn't matter how much i work out - if i didn't change my eating habits, i'd stay the same weight.

you must be doing great with your diet! i cheat a little too much.
It took me a while to get going too. I started cutting back a little at a time, & removing sweet treats gradually. Sweets are my weakness. Now, the sweets I eat are raisins in Raisin Bran cereal, sweetened instant oatmeal, & fat free cottage cheese with lite fruit cocktail. I couldn't give up sugar altogether. I'd never stick to a diet that required that. Now, I only cheat on special occasions. Fortunately, I've gotten used to smaller portions. I fill up faster, when I do cheat. I'll be cheating like crazy this weekend. Teehee I always do that, when we go away. When I get home, it's back to the real world. Annoyed

GH, not sure if you found something already, but beautybar has Blow products [beautybar.com] and they have 1-2 day free shipping on orders $39+. The blow products appear to also have a GWP right now too

Congratulations, GH!!
Thanks Sheena. hug I need the conditioner by Friday morning. Do you think I still have time to order it?

BTW, I love the Mychelle peels. I've been alternating the pumpkin & fruit peels. Let me know, if you find another deal.

yay gh!! that's impressive :yahoo
: are you trying any special diet? i keep hearing so much about the latest craze--the paleo diet, but idk if it'd work for me. i love carbs way too much.
Thanks girls. hug

Daisy, I'm a carb addict. I tried a low carb diet several years ago. That lasted about 3 days. I felt like I'd vomit, if I had to eat any more meat & eggs. Stick Out Tongue I'm loosely counting fat & calories. (I keep them low, but don't write down &/or add up every bite I eat.) I still eat carbs, but less of them. If there's a fat free version of anything, I buy that.

It's easier for me, because I'm home all day. I usually eat bran cereal for breakfast, & sweetened instant oatmeal or fat free cottage cheese w/ lite fruit cocktail for lunch. That way I satisfy my sweet tooth in a low-fat, low-calorie way. Sometimes, I have a couple pieces of multi-grain bread with the oatmeal. I toast it in the oven with fat free spray butter. For dinner, I'm more careful about choosing things that are actually good for me. This is the meal where I've really cut back on carbs. I used to have bread & dessert with every meal.

I've learned that portion size is key. Now, I eat a small portion, then wait about 15 minutes. If I'm still hungry, I eat something small to fill me up. Usually, I'm not still hungry. I've found I eat less that way. If I have a larger portion in front of me, I'll eat more. On special occasions, when I do cheat, I eat bread & dessert with every meal. I also eat a lot of pasta. That way I don't feel like I'm totally being deprived of things I love.

Obviously, I'm no expert. I just know what seems to be working for me. Basically, I've really cut back on fat & calories. I did that gradually. Eventually, my body got used to smaller portions.

I like that jason wu dress better!
That's funny. I liked the Limited dress better. After comparing the two dresses again, I realized it could be because the Limited model fills it out better. To me, it looks nicer & more expensive.

Quote from dimi :
Oh I see. That's even more impressive! I can't stick with a diet for the life of me :lol : I like to eat too much.
Me too! laugh out loud My health was getting so bad that I needed to try something. While taking off weight may not help, it can't hurt.

Quote from annicus :
:lol : unfortunately he didn't host it anywhere kuz he was scared of getting in trouble. he basically set up a woot page with him as the product to buy. he listed all of his features, and wrote a short story about our relationship. it was very sweet.

here is a photo of my beautiful swan setting... i seriously love this thing!

awww thanks guys! now i won't feel so self-conscious dress-shopping without a ring. :coverlaf :
Your ring is beautiful! I love it. heart I notice you mentioned it was a little too big. If you don't get it sized, it will drive you crazy. My rings are a little too big, & they roll around on my fingers. It's really annoying. I haven't taken them to be resized, because I don't want to leave them. BTW, my rings are also a 5. Maybe, it's the size that's jinxed. LMAO

Your boyfriend's proposal was really sweet.

I have 10 samples. Is that what you got? Did you check to see if it would work through Mypoints?

eta: Someone posted that they got 11 samples. I wonder what I'm missing.

eta: It looks like she had an extra Hypnose mascara.

Thanks for the help. You select the 11th sample at checkout.

Great deal! Thanks for posting. I love mascara samples, because I don't use it often. With samples, I don't have to worry about the full size drying up.

hahaha it IS the size that's jinxed! laugh out loud
but i guess it was my fault - i always knew 5 would be big on me. almost every store i went into advised me to order a 4.75, bc the 4.5 sizer either wouldn't fit on my finger, or would fit and get stuck. but i was still worried bc i hadn't really tried on any 4.75 rings, ever. only 1 store had a 4.75 sizer, but i don't remember how it felt. so i was scared it would eventually be too small - i don't ever want to deal with swollen fingers and not being able to wear it - i would be sad! in the end i told dbf to order a 5, tho i kept going back and forth.

i'm going to go home and try it on with my band (also a 5 since it only came in 1/2 sizes) to see how they feel next to each other. a lot of ppl say wearing 2 rings next to each other make them feel tighter. if it really doesn't help, i'll go get those little sizing things soldered onto the inside of the ring - they can add small pinpoints of whatever metal your ring is made of on the inside so that it looks the same but feels a bit more snug.

also, small meals is totally the right way to diet! you want your body to always be full but never be uncomfortably full. good job on your effort! sounds like it's really paying off! woot

oh and the beautybar would probably get there in time but you have to hurry. i've always gotten my orders via next-day shipping. but it's getting a little late... you may have to run to a store to get it.
