Fat girls on the Bus

Main question: 
How is it that they can commit to time consuming make-up regimen, and expensive outer acessories, but not to jogging 20mins a day, (which is arguable all one needs, as long as there's consistency)
On the bus today:
Saw around, counted, 22x "big" girls while riding the campus buses between classes.
I notice many of them have very complicated make up scenarios,, foundation, mascara, liner, shadow (feathered), toner, bronzer, nude lip, etc etc..
Also, many wear a decent amount of middle brand clothing, lots of BR mainly, they're relatively young after-all.
SO, all of this cost money and time, the make up well exceeds 20 mins in most of these cases,
And their cloths are obviously not cheap either...

But I will defend others and or myself when treated in an insulting manner.....that's not displaced anger. That's called standing up for yourself or others instead of letting them think what they say or do is ok.

The OP is not the one who "attacked" first. Frankly, I am pretty disgusted with how people acted here. It was childish and ridiculous. But you know what? That is the way of the lounge. I used to not really see it because I was here so often, but when you take a step back, it is borderline out of hand.
I cannot believe that people here would get so upset over a thread to resort to comments about the OPs looks, his performance and his grammar. To look for pictures of him and to photoshop them is appalling. Seriously, this thread takes the lounge cake on just how terrible and nasty people around here can be. The shit in here is so deep it stinks.

Regardless, I still think the OP's message is superficial in itself. If these people want to wear makeup instead of working out so be it. What's more important is that people be judged by what's inside than what is on the outside. Our society (well almost every society on this planet) is already too superficial as it is. You'd be surprised how many women who weigh 100 pounds that think they are fat.
I think being Asian has everything to do with it too. I think it's disgusting how many parents tell their daughters that they are too fat (when they are actually quite healthy looking to me) or that their skin is too tan, or something else that is absolutely idiotic.

Since, quite obviously, outer appearance is a product of inner motivation and life style habit/choices
It is never one or the other,,, in this time-straped world, we do not have the necessary time to deeply communicate with one another, so naturally we switched to mere glances as a quick estimation of one's composition.
Is it possible those girls are working out,, yes,, could they do better,, also yes,, does that make up help AT ALL,, N0000000,, even if they took the money to buy more food, it's more worthwhile than the makeup..

are you saying 22x of the vanity-laden girls all had medical problems or in an abusive relationship that causes them to overeat or compromises their ability to workout??
so, perhaps i was a bit "harsh" on 1 or 2 of them,,, the rest stand to benefit.
