They act as if the first amendment entitles them to do whatever the fark they want, when they want, without repercussions. They played the game, didn't play by the rules, and got burned. Now they want everyone involved to get fired/resign, like the students have no culpability in the matter.
Cops in question = right
Protesters in question = wrong

dick rider or hateron the side of the cops or the protestors. It's a simple as that.It is sad that people have a hard time saying that the cop may have been wrong in using pepper spray. If he isn't part of your family and didn't know he existed before this incident, then you don't have to pledge allegiance to him.

Why do we have to pledge allegiance to the protesters?

I am not for or against the protestors. I really wouldn't give a fark if they sprayed them with buckshot. It wouldn't make a difference in my life if the protestors or the cops were real. Shit doesn't directly affect me.

What if these protests are affecting our everyday lives? It may not be this particular location, but the protests in general.

I (in this case) feel that the protesters were wrong for several reasons. They did not protest lawfully, they disregarded the the officer's request to move to legal area to continue, at least one pulled away resisting, the group locked arms and resisted the police as a whole.
We have the right to protest and they took advantage and did whatever they wanted to do instead of obeying the law. They disrespected our military that fights for these freedoms.
I don't pledge allegiance to the officer in any way. He was doing his job.
The point is we don't all agree that the pepper spray use was proper. I feel it was because of the actions of the protesters.....breaking the law and resisting arrest. I feel the officer made plenty of attempts to get them to move. Since they were breaking the law they should have moved at first request instead of making an idiotic scene.
Do I think all cops are good. I know that all cops are not good. Just like there is bad in all other occupations.
Plenty of ppl protesting on the street has a better job than u I guess....... You don't have to wait till you are starving to start protesting, that's too late
Back to the topic the authority can easily claim any protests illegal with its power... It can be "illegal" on public property or private property. So should people all protest in their own homes?
