Save $19 on AAA Membership (NEW) in CA - 1 year $49 or $44.50 w/Auto Renewal

AAA in California has temporarily reduced their $20 enrollment fee for new members to $1 by enrolling here [aaa.com]. Total enrollment for one member is $49. This is further reduced by $4.50 to $44.50 if you select the Auto-Renew option, which you can change at a later time without penalty.

You can add one other household adult member for $25 and dependants under 21 for $27 each.

While their towing benifits are not so great (7 miles), their discounts (travel, meal, entertainment) etc. easily pays for the membership several times over if used.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFIT LEVEL ELIGIBILITY:
New members can join the Auto Club at the Classic level of benefits only. After one year, existing members with Classic level of benefits are eligible to upgrade to AAA Plus or AAA Premier if the primary member in the membership household has been a primary member of the Auto Club for the prior 365 days and there have been no tows in the membership household through the Auto Club during the same time period.

Mine's been $48 for the past couple years now. I cancel auto-renewal after making the payment online and when it's time to renew membership the following year I re-apply it again for the $4.50 discount. I end up paying $43.50.

I don't see it $49 either.... It shows up as $57 + $17 enrollment fee + $5 Discount for Auto Renewal = $69.

Also, i am a California Resident Smilie

Yeah I thought this was always the price but 5 miles of free towing sucks so I end up upgrading. Too bad it's almost double the cost for 100 towing miles....

You mentioned discounts easily paying for this, which AAA discounts make this worth it? I did a quick search and didn't see anything special.
