List what you're packin', and/or what you're looking forward to packin'.
And I'm thinking about buying/building an AR–15.
- Remington 870 Express Magnum 20ga
- Springfield XD Sub–Compact 9mm

HVHDYMO?
Would you choose a Mossberg 500 over a Remington 870? The Remington is almost $75 more. And would you get a 10ga, 12ga, 16ga, 20ga, 28ga or a 410?
Mostly just looking for something fun to shoot. I don't want something huge but on the other hand I also don't care much if it would be a great concealed carry weapon either.
Revolver? How about this one!

Get 12 or 20 gauge. 410 is one step above useless.

Can also get a .45 ACP wheel for it.

I'll take TR's word for the Mossberg over the Government's any day

I really like the Mossberg and will likely buy one in the next year if I don't get laid off this summer.
I'm just laughing at the thought of buying something because the government thinks it is a good idea. That may not be the best selling point.
I bought a Remington 870 because I had spent a lot of time with one when I was younger and it was just "familiar" and felt good. I got a chance to shoot a Mossberg a few months later and I think I liked that even better than mine. I wish I would have had mine handy to shoot both of them and compare them under the same conditions.
But for the price of them, why not have both?

Lololol. I want one for that price, too!
Shotguns are so cheap compared to everything else, it's not fair!
