Yes GH. Yesterday the bride said that about my feet. Today her sister reiterated the point. "In-step cut outs look odd on people with high arches". Never you mind that I won't be spreadeagle at any point during pictures or the ceremony so no one will really see that. There is also a requirement for brown hair. A blonde cousin was rejected from the flowergirl position because of it. It's a pretty tight ship they're running... something tells me that my "odd feet" just barely made the cut, but now I'm wishing they hadn't
Nothing against fetishes, but this one is not for me!

I originally thought my pretty Nambe decanter would do the same job as the aerator but nope. Now we aerate into our decanter!
I want a decanter. They used such a pretty one at Fogo de Chao and the red wine came out excellent! I wouldn't even begin to know how to use an aerator!

Awesome! Thanks!
Thanks for the heads up! I think I will mix it in after then! I'm not a fan of oil
decanters are pretty, but difficult to clean. i used to own one. ex-dbf got it in the divorce.

otherwise, who the f--k would even look at your feet. or notice the difference between the pump and d'orsay? OR EVEN CARE?
is the bride wearing the same color shoes as you? bc imo if not, you guys can all wear the same shoes - it would not take away from the look (and may even add to it! but let's not suggest that).
sent you a PM with some links and a couple of suggestions. if i think of more i'll send another pm!
*edit* you said cut outs on both sides. that is no longer a d'orsay then - that is only cut out on the inside. ummmm... not sure what both sides would be called actually...

I am still looking for the right guy. My problem is that I'm not putting myself out there and I'm picky. I am divorced with two girls, so I only get every other weekend to go out. And then half the time the father doesn't take the girls. I have no one to go out with except my sister. I don't want to hang out in a bar by myself. Plus I feel like only the creepy guys are attracted to me.
I am no good at dating. I married my high school sweetheart, so I have never done the whole dating scene. Online dating scares me!
I think not getting out there more is probably playing a major part in the not meeting anyone. I also only have my sister to hang out with and she seriously is only willing to go out like one time a month IF even that. I think I've been out like 3 times this year.
Lately I've been trying to just leave the house more and do things that may not be beneficial to meeting someone but they could be, You never know where you're going to meet someone so if I want coffee I get out and go get it or if I want a book I skip the online version and go to the store.
It really bothers me feeling like I don't have the chance to meet anyone because I'm never around strangers. I HATE going outside by myself but I've come to the conclusion that even if my sister wishes me the best, it isn't a high priority in HER life that I get out more so that I can meet someone and that isn't abnormal. It's my life. It's only going to be a high priority to me.
That being said, I hope you're all having better luck than I am.
i'm the same in terms of remembering every single detail... even down to what he was wearing the first time we met...and what he wore when he picked me up at my house for the first time we went on a date in his little car : lol: he's a tall guy, so it was really funny watching him get out of his compact car. i imagined a full size vehicle...it was like watching a clown get out of his prop car :lol :
Funny story about your DBF.
Eventually, DBF made progress, and we hit 2 years on Monday. Of course, that was an arbitrary date, since I was such a pain in the ass for the first several months we were dating. He always jokes with me that I was worth it : )
When I became single, I tried online dating because some of my friends had had SUCH good luck (seriously, one ended up dating a diplomat, and he ended up taking her all over the world!). I didn't have much luck. For whatever reason, I decided to go on a date with this guy who was a marathon runner, and I used to run a lot. It got super competitive, and at the end of the date he said, "Girls as pretty as you rarely have anything going for them." That was it...no "but you do" or anything like that. I was so livid. I don't think online dating is for me...not that I need it, since I have DBF : )
You should have told that guy that pretty girls didn't need to waste their time with jerks like him either.
I had a friend that moved up to Seattle and I always meant to go up and visit her, but never had the chance. Then my 5 year relationship ended, and about a year after that, I went up to go visit my friend, and DBF was one of the guys that was a mutual friend of hers that showed up to this one club we were at and we started talking and hit it off!
Although, I will admit, I kind of got a heads start prior to the visit because I saw my friend post pictures with him and her group of friends some months prior and I thought he was cute, but she never told me he was coming out that fateful night!
So it kind of evolved from there through talking online and such. I thought the long distance was easier, we laid our cards out and was basically like, "take it or leave it" because it would be a waste of time and money to drag it out so we decided to go for it. Our dating/getting to know each other period was online : D
So you had him on your radar, before you got there.
plus, i'm a B cup (kurpee has a point with that too).
not sure if you read my follow-up comment - dbf and i actually tagged along with our mutual friends in the same vegas trip. (not as glamorous, but still a fun story) at the time he lived about a mile away from my work. we hit it off that weekend in vegas, and afterwards i ended up stopping by his place after work often. it just sort of worked out that way.
It's so funny that you guys were so class, but never bumped into each other. Your trip was meant to be.

To exclude a family member, due to the color of their hair is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Does she want to get married or is she just planning her fairytale wedding? It sounds like she's going to have alienated family & friends, before it's over. People have to realize actions have consequences. It may be the bride's big day, but life goes on after that. Brides like this need to realize they're the only ones who think everything is about them. People have feelings & can only take so much.
This happened to me before when I checked out as a guest (where I put in my email) but I did not actually log into my account.
Can you check your order status via the email?

ETA: I tried the link again, then entered the email & order number manually. It worked that way. Thanks for the help.
