Hubby has been wonderful today. We're enjoying a low key day at home - DD isn't feeling well. He made breakfast and had flowers and a sweet card and balloons...he's making dinner too. :hear t: I'm not a huge holiday person but this was perfect. Hope you all are having a great one!
I'm glad you're having a great Mother's Day. The first one is the most special. Enjoy it.

Hope all you moms had a nice Mother's Day!

He doesn't try to use depression & anxiety to his advantage. As a matter of fact, he has changed his diet hoping a healthier body will help him feel better mentally as well. As his mom, it really worries me & makes me sad for him at the same time. I've never been one to really get depressed, so I don't know what he goes through. He over thinks everything, which is a major contributor. It's like his mind never takes a break.

I don't blame you for not wanting to leave a place you love. Everyone would be happier, if they lived where they most wanted to be. What one person considers paradise another may not like at all. If there was a universally desired location, we'd all be packed in like sardines & the rest of the country would be empty. laugh out loud
That's good. Maybe some professional help might be beneficial to him? I over think too much all the time, so I totally know what you mean. I can think myself until tired, yet still without a solution. Sometimes you just have to let it go. Can't control everything, thinking it to death won't do him any good. But sometimes, I just can't help and think away. He'll be okay, as long as he knows, baby steps at a time.

I'm glad we're not all in one location! Imagine how unhappy people would ALL be? laugh out loud

We took him to a psychiatrist, but he wouldn't go after a few visits. They wanted to put him on meds & he refused to take them. He's considering going again, but only for counsel. He won't take meds that will alter his brain function. He can't seem to let anything go. Honestly, he thinks about things on a much deeper level than I do. That makes it hard for me to understand what he is going through. Basically, he's too smart for his own good. I'm not as intelligent as he is, so I don't think on the level he does. laugh out loud

Thanks Smilie It's good to be back. Oooh yeah. My FIL was saying, "I've got a picture of him with the biggest sh*t eating grin on his face!" LMAO
I know, it doesn't look very substantial does it? I had to try it b/c I loved the pic of the model in this one print... it might be because the cups come up so high on the outer edges and top? IDK, but it's definitely more secure than any of the other strapless bikinis I own (all from VS, all the same size as this). Yes, I got it in my usual size. 32DD is my preferred size, but they don't usually offer that for bikini tops, so I went with big sis 34D and that turned out to be perfect- (maybe this means these tops run a tad small? Dontknow ).

And oooh yes, much needed break from bridezilla. Did I tell you I sent an email that laid everything out in the open? It included all the observations and complaints I've shared here and more with brutal honesty. And yet somehow, I'm still in this thing. Crylol
thanks for the sizing help! i ordered 34b and 34c to try. hopefully one of them will fit. i don't mind the other bandeau one tho - i haven't tried it in a pool yet but it seems like it'd be ok.

oh no. i really don't need yet another clinique gwp.

has anyone tried the brow shaper in "charcoaled"? i looked in mua, and it seems asian ladies like the shade. i'm thinking of getting that and deodorant (which i noticed is now $10, didn't it use to be $9?) also, i think i'm over gwp's laugh out loud i don't see anything special with this one like all other gwp's.

also, the $20 bloom.com voucher is haunting me. i can't really find anything i want to buy and having a hard time getting to $49.
i use a japanese brow pencil (brand: kate) in a grey/brown color. it's a nice brow color. i also use the stila brow powder in 'dark'. the pencil is easier so i use that when i'm lazy, but i think i prefer the brow powder color. i would worry that 'charcoal' would be too grey and not enough brown.

i haven't used my bloom code either! after my order didn't go through, i stopped trying. laugh out loud maybe i should try to find something again. i could always use some more essie np...

Where were you moving to in VA? We spent a couple years in Richmond. I hated every minute of it, & couldn't wait to move.
Richmond. LOL. They are building a humongous church north of there that was going to be a 2 year job and he was running the electrical. The church was going to built in a town outside of Richmond, can't think of the name at the moment, but we would of had to live outside of the town because the schools were terrible. To live in a nice area with good schools would of been crazy expensive for a tiny apartment. None of us wanted to go so it's a big relief that we don't have to. nod

When my DH retires, we plan to spend half the year in NC & the other half in our place in North Miami. We won't need a house this big, when our DS moves out for good. Plus, we won't have as much company, since we'll be spending 1/2 the year around our family in NC.
What part of NC? My brother lives in Waxhaw and it is beautiful there. I'd move there in a heartbeat! Smilie

It sounds like you and DH are doing your best for your son. I completely understand why your son would not want to take meds. (Some meds take care of one thing, but then cause a host of other issues.) Counseling is definitely a great idea though! And it's awesome that he is open to that. Everything will be okay, it just takes some time to get there.
