And he's in his mid 50s with a great wife who is there for him. We had a celebration of life, moonshine style, that night. I was so hung over on Sunday, but I went back over there. They were keeping themselves busy doing work around the yard. His mama was a good woman. She always hid the biggest eggs for when I came over and was asking for me to come over every night after work her last week. She'll be missed.
They say stuff like "gee, I don't know what to get my mom for mother's day."
And I'm like...
I seriously want to lock myself in my room and throw out the TV/radio for the first few weeks of May.
We saw The Avengers. It was freakin' awesome.
OMG, I love planting flower gardens, how fun! I have one container out front I put flowers in - I'm making sure we pass all the snow storms first before I put any in. Our last one of the year usually comes the second week of May...
I love movies at home, fun!
My day was good, busy! Spent most of it at the library studying for finals.
Then took a break and went out for Italian with my brother, his fiancée and her daughter. Always a good time!
Have any plans for tomorrow? I'm studying all day... again.

I'm pretty much waiting also to buy annuals because I don't trust the weather here AT ALL...especially since we had the most mild winter I have ever seen in NY. Maybe 2 weeks and I'll go for it.
Yesterday DD and I went to our roller skating lessons. She is amazing. She picks up on everything very fast and her goal is to join the figure skating league when she is at that level of skating. I would like to also but I'm not sure if it would be at the same time. She is well beyond me now. They also have a Jam team that I would like. We shall see

Yeah, it's bittersweet now. He's at the age where he makes stuff at school for mom and dad for holidays, it's so cute, I love it.

Oh he will make all kinds of good friends and probably try out different sports and you'll be toting him to practice and games for the next ten - twelve years.
DD has tried things she was interested in and has stuck to a few that she enjoys and makes her happy. That's all I want, for her to find what makes her happy and for us to just be supportive and proud.
OMG I was just thinking how frigging beyond ADORABLE your DS would be in football gear....he is just so cute

I went to run errands with the whole family yesterday. DW didn't know I was going to, but I dropped her off at the nail spa with my debit card, told her to get whatever she wanted, and then took all of the kids with me to run the errands. We picked her up an hour and a half later. She looked so relaxed. She needed it.
