Oh no. I hate Apple for all the crap they do with lawsuits. Trust me on this.

I hate them with a PASSION for that shit. It doesn't mean I don't like looking at their new products.

They throw their money because they lose marketshare and decide to sue into oblivion the other companies for stupid shit like slide to unlock.

I have also done extensive reports on all the suicide killings and stuff in their Foxconn factories.

I have no love for their legal department.

But the fact is that Apple creates a de facto standard, that others can create and do better. So I expect a very nice high resolution Android tablet by the end of the year.

If you're talking along the lines of manufacturers like ZTE and Huawei..then they'll make their name once they remove the branding (NO ONE, NO ONE, is going to buy any device with "Huawei" on it in the US).

I have a love/hate relationship with Apple. I don't buy their products (except really AppleTV), but I enjoy looking at what they come up with and get excited for the technology that will hopefully become standard down the line among others.

They sued Samsung who sold more mobile devices than Apple...so, what really is your definition of bigger? Just money?

There are a ton of cheaper alternatives out there...Apple will own the "I neeeeeeeeeed it cause I wont be cool" market and everyone else will deal with the "have to make it cheap as heck because it really is a worthless device but have to make people feel the need to own one"

This design is not exactly identical to the iPad 2's, though. Apple knocked the camera quality up to 5-megapixel

WTF< the iPad two had a what...3MP camera? $500 (Now $400) and it was 3 MP???? My $4 no contract phone has a 3MP camera...

EDIT: sorry..it shot stills at LESS than one megapixels. So I don't know..VGA?

Bigger? Umm, how about apple being larger than exxon mobil. Is that big enough? You're isolating things to mobile devices, I'm talking about a company's general leverage to sway the entire marketplace for their particular goods.

Granted, I have taken maybe 3 pictures with my tablet the last 4 months...but c'mon...

With all the talk about the new screen...(really, that is the only new feature surrounded with a bunch of fluff)...it makes me feel like the iPad 2's screen must look like sh*t, haha

The guy on Cnet compared the new screen to moving from a SD TV to HD TV...

Yeah that's just Apple fanboy hype. The iPad 2 was 1024 x 768 so that was at least a 720P display. This new display is 2048-by-1536..double and more than 1080P. So it's like going from HD to "full HD" and then some (I want to kill whoever came up with that moniker..but it's the beat way I can describe it I guess).

I have a camera on my tablet too and have used it..NEVER.

It looks ridiculous in the first place and just isn't practical (except a front-facing one for video calling).

Mobile devices represents 80% of their sales. It was even brought up in the keynote today. He was right to isolate them in this case.

Money doesn't sway the market. The products and fan base does. Do you really think that Apple users stick by this company because of Apple's bank accounts?

I have never used the iPad camera either. I'm sure it was put there for the people complaining that they needed to take pictures.

The front camera might be nice for Facetime and Skype but that's about it.
