Sweepstakes begins at 2:00:00 pm Eastern Time ("ET") on 4/23/12 and ends at 11:59:59 pm ET on 5/8/12.
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age (or age of majority if greater than 18 in their state of residence) at time of entry.

Write an essay not to exceed 100 words describing your most cherished gift from your mother ("mother", for the purpose of this Sweepstakes, can be defined as a motherly figure or a person who plays or played the motherly role in your life). Upload a good quality photo to support your essay, the photo must be a visual representation of what was described in your essay or a photo of your mother. Photo must be in a .jpg, .gif, or .png electronic format.
Limit one (1) Entry per person/Facebook account during the Entry Period.
On or about May 16, 2012 one (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing amongst all Eligible Entries received.
One (1) Grand Prize: A 3 day/2 night trip for the Grand Prize Winner and (1) one Guest to Los Angeles, California to shop with Cindy Crawford at a designated jcpenney store, as well as a jcpenney Gift Card valued at $1,000 to be used on the shopping trip. Trip includes:
(i) round-trip economy class air transportation for the Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest from a major airport nearest to the winner's home (the "airport of origin") to an airport in or near Los Angeles, CA;
(ii) hotel accommodations for two (2) nights in one (1) standard double occupancy room (base room and tax only; winner must provide credit card to cover incidentals and any damages to the room); and
(iii) ground transportation to/from the airport in California and the hotel and to/from the hotel and shopping location.
Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of Grand Prize is: $5,000. No cash equivalent for Grand Prize will be awarded. Trip subject to availability, and blackout dates apply. Trip must be taken on the date specified by the Sponsor after the Grand Prize Winner is confirmed. If the Grand Prize Winner is unable to travel on the specified date they may be disqualified and an alternate will be chosen from among all eligible remaining Entries received, time permitting. All travel itineraries, including selection of airports, is at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Grand Prize Winner and Guest must travel on the same itinerary from the same airport of origin; provide appropriate and valid travel documents to travel on specific dates. Guest (or legal guardian, for a Guest who is a minor) of Grand Prize Winner must be 18 years of age or older or accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian and will be required to sign a Travel/Liability Release and a Publicity Release, where legal, prior to issuance of travel documents.
