RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

Hello Funny Farm, from Aspen, Colorado! We stayed a few days in Denver with my sister, and rented a car yesterday and drove west into the mountains. What a beautiful drive in wonderful sunny weather! We came around a curve, and there was a sign that said "Entering No Name". Hubby and I looked at each other, laughed and had to do a high five! (OWTW folks will get it.) I wanted a postcard, but there is nothing much in No Name but some beautiful homes.
Our room here at The Gant is bigger than my house. Three bedrooms, three baths, a beautiful kitchen and living room. I found out last night that this room goes for almost $2000 a night. (WOW!) Today and the next few days we have a full agenda with food and wine classes and seminars. We have tickets to a concert by Elvis Costello on Saturday, which was a surprise. The weather is hot, the countryside is extraordinarily beautiful, and we are being pampered to the max!
I've been able to keep up with the FF, while at my sister's house. Congrats to those of you with some fun wins this last week!

I know. In the winter when work is slow for him I try to go out at least once a day for a short while by myself. But he has his little work trailer outside and makes stuff and fixes stuff even in the cold. It is hard at at times.

Has anyone else had a holdup in submitting a photo for the Vespa sweeps? I submitted a photo of my apartment's pool after a hurricane hit, and stated that I was going to drive my bike into it if I win one (it's a drunken tradition). They have yet to accept it, but I look and someones posted a photo of an Elvis portrait, and that was OK. What? At least mine is of an actual place. Argh!

Maybe they want to give the prize to someone who will use it in a non destructive way??? Usually they want a photo that is original and not used anywhere else. Supposed to be your own so I think alot will be thrown out
