Thanks MTmom, hubby says he's going to try to go back tomorrow to see how bad it is, but I was told the national guard is out and about so he probably wont be allowed back in, I'll let you know tomorrow, hoping for the best, expecting the worse.

yes, our son has a big truck, he put it in 4 wheel drive and went through fast to spread the water and we just followed him through it. I had my teacup poodle in my lap and I was so scared I didn't realize how tight I was holding him until he tried to bite me, poor baby! EEK!

Oh my! I had heard FL was in for one heck of a lot of rain but hadn't seen the news until your post. I'm hoping for the best for you! That is so scarey! I went through the worst flood that had been here for 200 years, it was pretty crazy and frightening.....we didn't have to evacuate but could not leave our street because everywhere was flooded. Update on Shelby the surgery had a weird name but this is what Jess posted she had:

For those who want to know, the vesicostomy is a procedure that put in a "pee hole" below her belly button. She has some anatomy issues inside that were impeding her bladderfrom emptying. so the vesicostomy allows her bladder to empty into her diaper. This is temp. for now.

And then the next she posted today: YES!!!!!!!!

Who has 2 thumbs and ready to meet the world? THIS GIRL!!!!!!!! We are on our way home!
