To Enter: There are three (3) ways to enter Sweepstakes. There is a limit of a total of three (3) entries per e-mail address regardless of entry method. These three (3) entries can be achieved via one (1) or a combination of the methods listed below. Entry limitations associated with an entry method, if any, are specified below. Only fully completed entry forms are eligible. Once submitted, all entries become the exclusive property of American Airlines, Inc. ("American Airlines" or "Sponsor") and will not be acknowledged nor will they be returned.
A.To Enter Online: Visit www.aa.com/mission and play the brief online "Pack for the Win" game that tests entrant's survival skills, travel knowledge and show biz savvy ("Game"). After completing Game, entrant must complete all required fields on the online Sweepstakes entry form, submit as requested and receive one (1) entry into Sweepstakes. Only fully completed entry forms are eligible. Entrant may enter Sweepstakes up to three (3) times via this method of entry subject to the limitation of three (3) total entries per e-mail address as detailed above.
B.To Enter via Sharing: Entrant can receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry after registering for the Sweepstakes as specified above and then by forwarding the Sweepstakes entry information to one (1) other individual who would otherwise be eligible to enter Sweepstakes. Instructions on how to forward Sweepstakes entry information are included on Sweepstakes entry form. Limit to one (1) entry via this entry method regardless of how many individuals entrant may forward Sweepstakes entry information to subject to the limitation of three (3) total entries per e-mail address as detailed above.
NOTE: Any additional sharing on any social media sites does not qualify as an entry or additional entry into this Sweepstakes.
C.To Enter via Ticket Purchase: Entrant can receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry after registering for the Sweepstakes via the online method specified above in 3A and then booking and purchasing a flight on or prior to June 28, 2012. Limit one (1) entry via this entry method regardless of how many flights entrant purchases subject to the limitation of three (3) total entries per e-mail address as detailed above. In order to be eligible for an extra entry via booking the user must purchase with the same email address used in the sweepstakes registration process. Ticket purchases using AAdvantage® miles or AAirpass® do not qualify for Sweepstakes entries; however you may register up to three times using the entry method in 3A.
PRIZE DETAILS.
A.Grand Prize: The one (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a trip ("Trip") for the Grand Prize Winner and one (1) travel companion ("guest") to attend the Premiere of the Bourne Legacy ("Premiere") in New York or Los Angeles ("Destination City") and on dates to be determined by Sponsor or its designees. The Trip includes the following:
1.The number of American Airlines AAdvantage® miles required for round trip (as defined in section 5) coach class travel for two, subject to the mileage limitations below, for each Winner and one (1) guest ("Guest") for each Winner to attend the Premiere on a date and at a location to be determined. "Round trip" travel means travel from the American Airlines departure city closest to Winner's (and not the Guest's) place of residence, to the U.S. Destination City, and from the same Destination City back to the originating city with no deviations. Winners and Guests are fully responsible for the full cost of transportation between the closest airport servicing American Airlines, its "Airline Associates" (American Eagle, Executive Airlines or the AmericanConnection® carrier) oneworld® carriers or select AAdvantage® participating airlines and their respective places of residence.
The American Airlines AAdvantage® miles awarded to Winners are subject to the following additional terms:
a)Winners are eligible to receive a maximum of 180,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® miles per Winner, or the maximum number of miles needed to fly between any city in the U.S.A. serviced by American or its Airline Associates, oneworld® carriers or select AAdvantage® participating airlines to the airport closest to the Destination City.
b)Notwithstanding the forgoing, if the Grand Prize Winner resides within one hundred fifty miles of the city that is ultimately chosen for the Destination City, sponsor is not responsible for providing transportation to the Destination City and no compensation or substitution will be provided for the difference in prize value.
2.(Round Trip ground transportation for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) guest, to be taken together, between Destination City (New York or Los Angeles) airport and Hotel (defined below) ;
3.Round Trip ground transportation for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) guest, to be taken together, between Hotel (defined below) and Premiere event
4.Each Winner and his/her Guest receive a one-room, 3 night hotel stay at a 4-star hotel, which will be one (1) single standard room based on double occupancy (meals, telephone calls, tips, gratuities, excursions and other incidentals and costs not specified herein are not included), with a nightly rate to not exceed $400 a night.;
5.two (2) tickets for Grand Prize Winner and guest to the Premier, (on a date to be specified by Sponsor or its designee),
The total ARV of the Grand Prize including airfare, lodging, ground transportation and Premiere tickets is $ $4,982.
Winner is responsible for any and all applicable fees, service charges, surcharges or passenger facility charges and all insurance costs, federal, state, local and foreign taxes, if any, gratuities, meals, incidentals and any other unspecified expenses associated with acceptance or use of the Grand Prize. Some of these taxes, fees and other amounts may be due upon booking/ticketing the AAdvantage® award travel.
B.First Place Prizes: Each of the three [3] First Place Winners will receive: one (1) Tumi Bag with an ARV of $295, one (1) American Airlines Gift Card with an ARV of $500, one (1) Nikon Camera with an ARV of $199, one (1) set of Bose QuietComfort® 15 headphones with an ARV of $299.95, one (1) Admirals Club Pass with an ARV of $100, one (1) Bourne Trilogy Box set with an ARV of $34.96, one (1) package including pajamas, amenity kit and neck pillow with an ARV of $100. The total ARV of the each First Place Prize is $1528.91.
