I was at Costco yest (1600 Expo Parkway,Sacramento, CA) yesterday and bought 4 Johnnie Walker Blue Label for $119.99 each.
There is no limit, you can buy as many as you want.

This deal ends 06/08 i.e., tomorrow.
Regular price(146.99) - Instant Rebate at Checkout($27) = $119.99 + Tax.

Regularly, I pay $150 Cash at a liquor store for this. This is a good deal if you like Blue Label.
I might go today again and stock some more.

Cheers!

Great list...I would also add Lagavulin to this list too (hands down my fave!)
Lagavulin is great! Also, if you're willing to not be a purist, give Yamazaki a shot. It's scotch that can't be called scotch because it's not made in Scotland. It's made in Japan, but it's fantastic.

You can get it for about that if you buy a case from grand wine cellar. For a single bottle that is a great price. Again, my Costco only carries the mid grade stuff.
Johnny Blue used to be my whiskey of choice. Yamazaki 18-yr is my go-to now. Readily available on the West Coast, harder to find on the East Coast.

My bottle (in its lovely box) is just gathering dust.

It served its purpose, but I won't drink it.
What time can I come pick it up?

I've got a bottle of the Yamazaki 12 and Hakushu 12 in the cabinet...planning on giving them a try soon!

I haven't heard of Hakushu, maybe I'll have to hunt for it when I polish off this Yamazaki.

Very pleased with the Yamazaki 12... I picked it up from a Total Wine by my house for $40ish if I remember correctly. Originally tried it at my friend's bar (not sure if it was the 18 or the 12) and loved it. Definitely like the quality of the 12 for the price. Enjoy!

That's just what blended scotch is. It's typically a half and half mixture, half of a blend of single malts, and half of just filler alcohol with neutral taste. A notable exception is Johnnie Walker Green Label, which is still blended scotch but is a blend of ALL single malt scotches. I happen to be a fan of blended scotch and while I like single malts as well, I find it hard to compare the two. I don't view one as better than the other, I just view them as.... different.
JW discontinued the Green.

It is a good price on blue label.
But I'd rather pay $130 for Glenlivet 21 yrs Archive, that I bought a year ago in Midwest.

WOAH- regular Glenfiddich is what the Scots export to England cos they hate them so much
Like I said, to each his own. hug My friends who have all the Scottish pride in the world love Glenfiddich... and personally despise Glenlivet. I'm an ardbeg guy myself, but I do like HP for everyday whisky. GF12 and Balvenies just happen to be very acceptable to most people. Same with JW Black. I'm just helping give my 2 cents on the matter.

I was under the impression there would be 6 in the 'Whisky of the Gods' collection.

And there will be 23,000 bottles distributed (of each)

Only 1500 to the US. Although the one I saw in stores had the crazy wooden display case, whereas some pics online show a much sexier bottle with metal thunder wrapped around it. (the one with the hole in the box). Anyway, purely for looks.

I prefer single malts however one blend I enjoy is Chivas Royal Salute 21. It's smokier than JWBlue and cheaper too.
