Personally, I am sick of adults obsessing over a show made for prepubescent girls. Would like to know what other 'non-fans' think of the phenomenon.

Someone had mentioned the most popular MLP website got 60 million unique hits in a month. Why would I want to make this thing even more popular?

There is a difference between people - and yes, some of them are adult males - who enjoy the show because it's well-written and funny, and people who want to fark artificial vaginas sewn into giant pony dolls.

And no, I've never seen a single episode*, but I'm also not about to condemn an entire fan base simply because a few outliers take things too far.

*I have, however, read several excellent reviews of the show and multiple articles defending it as something both adults and their kids can enjoy together

OP, it appears as though you're into video games which afaik were originally targeted towards the younger crowd before the grown-ups moved in and took over. I'm just sayin'... perhaps those who live in glass toy boxes shouldn't throw stones. Coverlaugh
