i just found this dress [express.com] on the site. in my color! (plum) it would be PERFECT for a bridesmaid dress. boooo bc i already ordered other (more expensive) ones. however, i got one for a spare bc one of the bm's doesn't fit into her dress as of now. Ermm hopefully that can be remedied, but if not, hopefully this one comes pretty close in color to the others. (tho the fabric is different)
On my try on list! Looks very pretty Girly!

it's $65. shop at home is at 10% for their nordstrom cb today too. i ordered it. i regretted not ordering the one at sephora.

42.50 (perfect for the dw set). it shows up automatically in the cart so i don't think it will work without a nordstrom card. just wanted to give yall a heads up.
i want the el.

i also want the nars, but i already have orgasm Turtle which is probably not bad, it's only one of the 6.

Beach Sexy Sara Halter [victoriassecret.com] - Neon Coral, Scuba - I like this style. I do not love it. I prefer the Liya Push-up Halter that I reviewed in the previous post. I have not tested the top as of yet, but it seems secure. *let us hope*
Thanks for all the reviews!

this dress [express.com] could be so cute in a different fabric/color.
I would love that dress, except the fabric looks too pleathery for me.

No problem. I am kinda limited in what I can do right now. Someone ran a light and hit my car last Monday. So that ruined my holiday plans. I thought I was fine, but my back gave out Friday. So I have been going to physical therapy. My car was totaled, so I had to buy a new one. A lot of stuff to do and a lot of pain I have been doing it all in. More reviews after lunch.

i think i mentioned before i'm looking for a new hobby... to replace shopping laugh out loud

i think i found it... baking and cooking! Whee

i need to figure out what basic supplies and tools i need. i don't have many baking stuff.

eta: i'm accepting suggestions for must-have items
This is an activity DH and I do together, kind of like a date night, hopefully it works out for you too! yummy
Must have item for the fridge: ready-to-go frozen meal in a bag for when you mess up horribly, which you will inevitably do at least once.

Pans are a very personal thing (in brand and metal), but this has been a life-saver when it comes to breakfast foods (eggs, omlettes, crepes, pancakes)
Calphalon Commercial Non-stick Crepe/Griddle pan [amazon.com] , This [amazon.com]appears to be the same thing, and at the same price the other was when Amazon sold it. Our other pans are All Clad Tri-Ply, but that's a heck of an investment.

Food Processor- DH loves it. We've got the mini prep (Cuisinart) and it's enough. He uses it to break down roasted peppers/garlic/and turkey meat for his turkey burgers, I use it to break down macadamia nuts for mahi mahi filets... would love to use it to make hummus or salsa or dips. I've seen it used for prepping stuffing as well.

Blender - (a good strong one, w/ glass pitcher). I use it for soups and smoothies (trying to get more healthy with these for snack or breakfast). Never hurts to have one around to make margaritas either Wink2

Meat Thermometer - DH used it all the time until he got the hang of checking for doneness via the "finger method" for steaks, lamb and pork. The remote kind where you can leave the thermometer in and close the oven door are the best, though we have to replace ours every year.

Electric Kettle
We use ours for tea/coffee press and to quick-heat stock from concentrate, but I also use it to blanch vegetables real quick, then finish them in a pan with oil/garlic/seasoning. Lifesaver when there are "too many cooks in the kitchen"

Baking:
Insulated Cookie Sheet [amazon.com] Keeps the cookies crisp and perfect. The Silpat mats are fairly handy too.
Stacking Cooling Rack [amazon.com] Keeps the bottom of cookies and cakes from getting soggy. Helps them cool faster. Lifesaver when you're doing multiple batches of cookies- frees up your pan for another batch!
Silicone spatulas/bowl scrapers. Use these for cooking too. Love the 'be a good cookie' [amazon.com] one, works so well!
Flour Sifter or a strainer that can do double duty as a sifter.
KitchenAid Mixer, only use it for baking. Very heavy, so it stays on the counter and takes up space. I probably would hardly bake at all were it not for this piece of equipment... I have arthritis in my wrist and elbow, but if you don't have a mixer, it's a good upper body workout laugh out loud

I tired on all my recent dress purchases for my DH. The floral mesh ruched dress http://www.express.com/floral-mesh-ruched-dress-48734-43/refine/Type/Dress/control/show/3/index.pro was his favorite. I thought it was unforgiving & showed my belly. He disagreed & thought it was super sexy.
So funny, I didn't feel too strongly about that dress either and my DH thought it was sexpot too! Crazy boys haha.. I kept it as well Turtle

Iagree

I read someone posted something about the lacies poking holes? Was it you or porda? I don't remember, but that is terrible. I stopped ordering lacies. I was obsessed with them and realized I never wore them! Now, they just take up a lot of room in my dresser.
Wave It was me- it was a lace-waist PINK panty (not the Lacie line). I haven't had problems with those ones.... yet
Quote from nerdgirl :
ok, so i reordered the alvs/gh favorite strapless dress from express in white in xs, and i'm going to bring it with me. it's definitely more flattering on me in xs than in s. and i do love that it's almost not see-through - that is so rare in white dresses! it will be a spare white dress for the bachelorette party this weekend - can't wait! Woot
exciting!!! DH just got back from there and I'm washing the stripper/smoke/sweat out of his clothes... vomit

I'm glad Express jeans aren't that low. laugh out loud
. . .
It takes a lot of work to wear the buttcrackers- I double down with a highwaisted boyshort and long top, but even then I'm constantly checking Spider

Comfort That's horrible, the person stopped right? Jeez, I hope your healing time is quick. Thank you for all the reviews. Even with all the Express happenings, I'm still a sucker for VS - and you found that dress for $10, I never saw that?! You've got me picking that one up now Smilie
