yeah... seriously. i think last time i ordered bc i actually wanted the mag. laugh out loud but otherwise, it's not worth the time spent trying to get the rebate.

it really does suck tho. obviously these magazine rebates can be done well (as folica has shown us), so it's just dermstore that sucks.

They claimed that they didn't "get the form" and that they have "no problems honoring the rebates." We had interpreted the terms correctly. We can get multiple rebates as long as they're different. However, they may run out, so it's best to get the rebate right when it comes out and then call them to request the rebate. It sounds like a lot of work. I guess dermstore sends them lists once per week with the people with the subscriptions.

I do still find it odd that no one here who sent in the rebate form actually got the rebate. My dad has ordered things as well (to give to me), and he has never gotten a rebate. That's a lot of people who have had no success with rebates.

is it folica or dermstore that actually shows that you have a subscription in your cart? i think that's good practice so we have confirmation of rebate qualification. if it's while supplies last, it should say so on the form. and when the "supply" is out, take the form out of their website, and don't add the magazine in the cart.

anyway, whatever. i'm still not convinced laugh out loud if i needed something at dermstore, i'm not adding stuff just to get to the rebate's requirement, that's what i've been doing.

they say to call them to request the rebate? isn't that what you did 10x? Crazy

i'm happy that you finally got the right person to help you.

Well, they got me pissed off enough for it to be about principal. I was about ready to file with my CC company. Talk about a TOTAL disaster that would have been. No one knew anything until I posted what I did on their wall. If it was for a $20 or $12 rebate, I probably would have done nothing.

That's just my impression. SubCo. came about recently. Before, it was always Conde Nast. I think Folica is through Conde Nast as well.

Edit: It appears as though folica no longer has magazine rebates Frown

Does anyone know how to cancel a VS backorder without talking to a CSR? I thought this used to be the number, but it doesn't let me cancel a backorder. 1-800-411-1418

that's the number i've been calling! if it's not letting you, maybe try calling back later. i had trouble a few weeks ago - it kept wanting to transfer me. but i just used that number like last week to cancel some backorders.

what's it doing for you?

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong. I call it and give my order number. Then, it tells me one item has shipped (great). then it says, you can say "tracking information," "item details", or "continue."

I have no idea how to cancel a backorder. Granted, I've never tried canceling a backorder before, and I may just be doing it wrong. I just noted the number in case I ever wanted to.

This makes me wonder, if the extreme stretch leggings I tried in store were mislabeled as short. They were that much too long for me. I was walking on them. They almost covered my tiny feet. You would order 4S, but they should be the length you want.

When I've been unable to cancel a b/o at that number, the item shipped shortly. They may be filling your b/o now.

ETA: I just saw your last post. Odds are the item has shipped.
