i also wanted to note - anyone who might wear M pants - these [express.com] are very comfy. i got them in XS bc that's all that was available when i ordered - S would have worked too (i prob would have preferred S).

When do you guys usually cancel your backorders? Do you do it right after you place your order or wait a few days? The backorder item from my last order did ship. I'm hoping to cancel a different backordered item from an order I just placed.
Can I use my precious $10 Express Next reward on clearance Item?
I constantly stalk Express clearance. That's how I find a lot of dresses. Things go in & out of stock often. They're returns that are put back up for sell. Their inventory isn't in real time. There's a bit of a delay. I've had one dress not ship, because someone obviously ordered it before I did. Coincidentally, it was the nude ruched dress you said you didn't like as good as the striped dress. That makes me feel better about it not shipping.

i had tried one on (same style, different print) in store awhile ago and i was going to get it but changed my mind at the last minute. thought i'd try it out again, tho i'm not super hopeful, and i really don't need any more dresses.

eta: i realized my chiffon is different because it is v-neck.
you may be safe only in the number sizes, but not in the letter sizes

I really should stop stalking the website too. I'm going to have more dresses than I can ever wear. I love getting good deals though. The black & while halter cowl neck dress I found in clearance came in today. My DH likes it better than the strapless ruched tube dress in the same print. I like that I got it for $17.99 + tax.

be careful cancelling backorders - some ppl have reported that they tried to cancel 1 and it cancelled all of their backorders.

yes! it works on clearance. just be sure you absolutely want the item, bc you won't get the reward back if you return it.
I would like to at least try the nude lace ruched dress, so I'll keep stalking.
That dress will look cute with a belt.
