Blah. DD is sick AGAIN. She just got over being sick! She has a fever of 103 and is throwing up all over. I finally got her to keep some pedialite down and some tylenol. Poor kid. Breaks my heart to see such a small baby throw up Frown

mine is sick too. first time. fever 100.4 and coughing. we went to the dr and got some meds. i'm hesistant so i asked my pedia sister for 2nd opinion. she suggested not to do one med, she said it's not recommended for less than 2 yrs old. insurance didn't cover that one and walgreens said meds are not returnable once they are out of the pharmacy. didn't know this Mad

Poor guy Frown Your kiddos don't go to day care, do they? I think that is why DD is sick so much. This is her second bout of vomiting in a month! It scares me Frown DH isn't home and I have no family around either, I actually called my boss and he is going to bring some Pedialite by my house (I'm almost out) in the morning. He and his wife are SO great, such good people. It's nice to have a little help so I don't have to take her out!

Isn't the price of kids meds unreal!? DD needed some pseudoephedrine for kids and the insurance didn't cover it - $75!! For some amped up baby dayquil! It was HIST-Pse or something. not in daycare. big brother had cough, i guess that's where he got it. not sure where big bro got it because there's no school. that hist-pse is the one i paid $69 for, but my sister said not to give it. insurance didn't cover since it's otc, but i think i can get my money back with hra since it's rx. but we're running out of our hra allowance for this year.

is it helping your baby? i was actually mad and am thinking of changing docs because of that rx, but it seems they really do prescribe it for babies, yours is even younger than mine.

it must be hard with your dh not around. my baby isn't drinking as much milk, and gets disturbed at sleep when he coughs Frown

eta: i haven't used the med, and i understand they can't put it back in their stock since some people may use them then return. but i suppose the companies should take the loss (like in cosmetics Teehee that can't be resold)

1618 worked for me for 60 off 150 i think! it should also be 15/30 and 30/75 but i didn't test it.
