On a totally different topic from what we usually discuss, anyone have any suggestions for Halloween costumes utilizing real clothing? I don't want to buy costumes. Clothes that we can wear later are a better investment. We can add makeup, accessories, etc. to that. I don't want anything risque. We'll be on our cruise over Halloween. I want my DH & I to have costumes in the same theme. Any suggestions?
Too bad no risqué... Otherwise your hubby can be shirtless n wear a bow to be a chippendales man n You can wear a nice bustier and get bunny ears to be playboy bunny Wink

How about just wearing all black and drawing whiskers n a cat nose on your face? Black cats?

Or cut up old clothing n use makeup to create a dirty bum look. Add some personalized kookie cardboard signs asking for money?

Got any red n white stripe shirts? Where's Waldo couple?

Have u girls played a game called mad gab? Wondering if there's a difference in enjoyment between to go version vs full size. The game is pretty expensive. Full size was 32.xx at target. Travel is 11. Shopping for a friends bday. Thinking if she'd want more items off her list (including the travel game) vs the one full size game that took up my budget.

Games these days cost so much money. I don't remember them being so expensive

Yes, I've been shopping for my cruise forever. That's the excuse I use anyway. Facepalm I already have more dresses than I need, but I'm still looking for me. My packing list will probably change many times as new merchandise is released. Teehee I've been telling my DH he needs to go to Express to try on some clothes, so I can start shopping for him too. If I don't have someone else to shop for, I'm going to have more clothes than I will ever wear. Embarrassment

Thanks for the costume suggestion. I'll give it some thought. Unfortunately, I don't have high boots. I don't really have any place to wear them.

We seem to have very similar taste. I like feminine, elegant jewelry. My sisters, nieces, & the girls on here have convinced me that I need to expand my horizons & be more stylish. Stick Out Tongue My MIL keeps up with styles & trends better than I do. Blush
That's me!! I'm trying to wear them all now, hence, extreme reduction in shopping. laugh out loud

Good luck with the costume, wolfie has some really great ideas! Big Grin

I don't think I will ever be talked into becoming trendy and keeping up with the styles. I try to go with something flattering that will last many years, since 80% of my wardrobe is unworn Facepalm and I expect it to last me another 20 years!

i placed multiple orders Paperbag i had plenty of jeans in my wishlist. i almost reordered the ones i already have to use the reward, but i got too stressed out laugh out loud . . .
It was stressing me out too! Shopping used to help me blow off steam, now it creates it Teehee

. . . Thanks for the bra suggestion. I ordered a couple bras from MJR that said they have gel inserts. Hopefully, I'll get lucky & they're similar to the bra you love. For $39 total for a strapless & a low back bra, I'm willing to chance them working. If not, they can hang in the closet with my other strapless. laugh out loud I checked bras on MJR & eBay, but couldn't really tell if they were the bra you like or the newer version.
. . .
Porda, I thought I selected your post, but I obviously didn't. Express will exchange in store for the discounted price, as long as the jeans are the same price. I've done it.
So glad they fit! Here is an example of the bra: http://www.mjrsales.com/womens-cl...-34dd.html . Thanks for the exchange input. It sounds like I just need to nail the dress/jean/top/etc. design I want and I can exchange for perfect fit in-store if I need it . Makes the whole process a lot less nerve-wracking bounce

I was so stupid last night- I made cookie dough and was trying to figure out my Express order all night... as I ate way too much dough. Today, my not-sister-in-law (as she calls herself Coverlaugh ) came over so we could train for the Avon Breast Cancer walk and I was so nauseous and queasy. Sick Luckily she stuck around while I got better so we could do our 10-miler. Oh cookie dough, why do you hurt me so? Frown

Dare I ask, what do you mean you made cookie dough? It sounds awesome. Baked cookies & ie cream have been my weakness lately coupled with the fact that I cannot exercise, it is not good.

nerdi - i think you asked me about rerocks but i forgot to answer. i have a lot of them purchased from long time ago, but i haven't bought any lately. they have more loud design - embellishments, thicker stitching, back pocket designs. there are ones that are more simple i think, like maybe just thicker stitching. i am less attracted to them now maybe since i'm maturing Teehee and also i already like the rise on the stella, rerock is more low-waisted (regular low-waist, not buttcrackers)
