This is the shelving unit. It is Glossy Red. I purchased four baskets to conceal items. I am currently only using one of them. It contains my hair appliances: hair dryer, InStyler, curling irons, etc.

However, it fell last week because it was full and too heavy. As you can see it is not full now (the other side is not full either), but it is still heavy. Therefore, I want to have all those cosmetics on the shelving unit. But in what???

The only thing I know I want is two red cups to hold my brushes. I already have red pebbles, so I am just looking for the cups.

love the shelving unit! is it ikea?

they sell stuff to go into those slots at ikea i believe. what you need for cosmetics though is shallow drawers with sections. not sure if they have anything like that.

btw you have a lot of carmex. Coverlaugh

Yes, it is from Ikea. They have an Insert with 2 Drawers and an Insert with a Door. I may get the drawers, but I like that some of the compartments are open. There are several ways I could arrange the totes if I buy two sets of drawers and still have two compartments open. I think I want my cosmetics on display on top of the unit though. I am still longing for this...

ok so my express adventure:
found boatneck dress in 0 and 2. both fit, i picked 2 because for some reason, the waist is more defined.

lady doing my returns/exchange i think may be the manager. she was encouraging me to place orders in the store and i'd get fs. i said i get fs with my cc. then she said it's just going to be as if i'm placing my order online. and then says returns "halts" them (i think she actually said "hurts" laugh out loud), at least she says i can balance it out if i place my orders in their store. she had been nice to me, and i think she was nice the way she said it to me (or my skin has thickened). i would if it will make them happy, but it's not very convenient Frown i guess my purchases and returns would now be done 99-100% online.

Thanks for the return info. For the halter cowl neck dress, you should wear your bra you wore in your bachelorette pic. Wink It was OMG on me, which is probably why my DH preferred it over the strapless dress. laugh out loud I'm thinking of putting a few stitches in the fabric of the cowl neck, so it hangs the way I want it to all the time. It should be easy to do. You may want to try the one shoulder look some of the reviews mentioned. My DH doesn't like one should tops & dresses, so I didn't try it that way. It looks cute in the pic in the review though.

oh... my boatneck dress is not currant. i thought it was, but when they were held together, my new one is actually maroon, more red and less purple than the currant.

also the lace sweater that was wild fruit, currant or black online, i didn't see the wild fruit. they have something brown-orange instead.

That makes sense, but it defeats the purpose of ordering online. They should get rewarded for processing returns. It does take time. This makes me want to order less. Sadwalk

weird! the 0 looked much better on me (tho, i didn't try both in the store - so maybe the mirror had something to do with it!). will have to go back and try it again. laugh out loud

i have yet to hear this, but it makes sense. it's probably why they always ask if i want to get something else instead when i return stuff.

the 1 that i ordered in currant looks maroon. i wonder if there's another variation that i haven't seen yet...?

and weird that you saw a brown-orange! was it shiny/sparkly? there's a lurex sweater that looks the same except the material is a little shiny. i saw it in navy blue in my store, hanging with all the other lace sweaters (wild fruit, currant, red, and black were all there as well).

not shiny. i received the wild fruit today and i think i like the wild fruit better, it's a happier color. the brown-orange is for fall.

i'm not sure why stores should be "hurt" by returns from online. it's probably true, but it shouldn't be that way.

Nice organization drawers with the red. Hm...why not go for the one you showed us of the plastic ones? That looks nice. I know K showed us something really nice of how she puts her makeup in.

I'd go for anything that makes it easy to see things and grab on the go without much fumbling, I think that's my problem with my collection, I can't see everything at once so I just go for what I can see!

Hm, I personally prefer the gloss because it would probably only really reflect versus the hammered. The texture on the hammered looks like basically what happens to a nail when it's hammered in all directions and not very pretty. It can be interesting though. I don't know if it's best to try it out in stores? I thought the shapes where pretty much the same, just the texture was different? How would you match earrings or necklaces with the hammered? The glossy texture seems easier to match other accessories with. Not sure if that helps, but I think if you can make it to a store, check it out.
