The shorts are very nice for $17.99. I didn't really focus on the leg openings. I'll try them on again in a little while to see what I think.

Oh, that reminds me! My laser hair removal on my legs is totally working! I was concerned about having blonde leg hair. I previously had two other places turn me away because my hair was too light for the lasers to find (since they're attracted to pigment). Anyway, the new laser that works on radio waves is amazing! I guess this laser is new to the market, and my laser hair place just got one in.

I love my laser hair removal place. They had $149 groupon for 6 sessions, and once I got there, they had a sign saying that if I wanted extra areas, I could just pay them the groupon price. Thus, I'm getting my entire legs done for $300 (upper and lower legs are considered separate). I'll probably get more areas done once I'm done with those.

If anyone is considering laser hair removal, I highly suggest it, and if you're blonde or light-haired like me, there is hope!

I'm still having a hard time grasping the idea of a statement piece of jewelry. I think the matching thing must be generational. Hm, I think it's different for children to receive matching pieces of jewelry. Dependent on the age of the kid.

I think the earrings you linked were nice, but not to wear together. I'm sure you have something in your stash to match the earrings with different, but similar necklaces and bracelets.

As you said, I have an old soul nod I try to stay classic and maybe a pop of color every once in a while. Less is more, no? Man...I sound so boring!! laugh out loud

I thought it was a great deal, too, and the place is FANTASIC (not shady at all). They also offer the groupon price to anyone I refer, so if anyone was in MN, I'd be happy to refer you. I don't get anything for it, but the deal is pretty good. I'm actually shocked that none of my friends here are taking me up on it. I mean, this place is only about 7 miles from my house.

I thought that was a pretty good promotion they were running.

Stopped at VS at lunch and picked up the bridal panties. They are one size fits most. I was just going to buy the $3 mints by the guy screwed up ringing the panties up. He forgot to the include the mints. Once he realized it, he asked me if I still wanted the mints. I didn't. So I got the panties for free!

Pink just moved out of my store into it's own store in a different part of the mall. VS is now remodeling the section that Pink used to be in. I wonder what they will put in there?

nice! and yeah, they're a bridal lacie. i gave the same one to my friend last year when she got married. they ran the freebie online last year, in march i think.

i'm getting married this year, but i don't really want them. laugh out loud i don't wear lacies/thongs/etc on a normal basis! but i suppose they would be good on the honeymoon....

It wasn't only when I was a child. We received & bought matching necklace & earrings all through life. Maybe it's personal preference or maybe it's generational. Confused

I don't like the linked earrings at all. They're really too gaudy for me. I was hoping they'd grow on me, since other people seem to like them. laugh out loud No one liking the set gave me an out. Stick Out Tongue I'll be passing on those. Now I need to find something else out of my comfort level to try. Scratchchin That shouldn't be too hard. If you saw my jewelry box, you'd see I have a very narrow comfort level. It's full of very similar jewelry. shake head

Haha, me too! The only statement piece I have of costume jewelry is this giant gold angel fish necklace from Guess. It was soooooooooooo cute the time I saw it, but I have yet to wear it. I may try to get rid of it or something. But I still think it's so cute. Don't know what to wear it with. shake head

You have motivated me to get rid of jewelry I never wear or were gifts and I would never ever wear in a million years.

I really like jewelry by Steven Lagos. He has some pretty unique stuff. Sometimes, my runway TJ Maxx store has it. The lady at the jewelry counter really likes me (chocolate goes a long way) and will sometimes call me when something goes to second or third markdown Smilie I have found some absolutely incredible pieces there that are within my price range after the second or third markdown.

Right now, I'm wearing this [lagos.com] necklace. My parents mailed it to me after I passed my written qualifying exams. It seems as though their prices have gone up quite a bit. Too bad silver is so high.

I think that someday when I have a good job, I'll buy more jewelry. I really like his stuff, but I also like the hunt of TJ Maxx Smilie
