Wave I've a question about using Angel Rewards in store -- can you stack multiple Angel Rewards in one transaction? I tried to use 2 in store today and the manager said only one is allowed, even though the back of the cards doesn't mention anything like that. Anyone knows if she's right or not?

Yes, you can use them together. It used to say that it can be combined, but I guess they are making it harder for the customers and leaving the power to the stores.

You can always call corporate and have someone verify for you Smilie Let me know if you need the number.

yeah it was weird. the cert thing only happened to me when the certs first started. then after they fixed it, it didn't stop working for me again. not sure why it's happening to some and not others...

btw i looked at my white and yellow dresses again. (returned the turquoise bc i have too much stuff that's turquoise, and also bc the skirt wasn't lined) the yellow dress in the same size is 2" shorter than the white!


shake head wtf vs. i'm keeping the white - the yellow is stupidly short on me. the white is a much better length.

Thanks for the verification, azn! Smilie I vaguely remember they used to have the wording on the back too; good to know that I didn't just imagine them. laugh out loud Think I'm going to email corporate tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion.

Then these BMs show up to the bachelorette party with $1s, but no funds to pay the strippers. (And Big Ideas brought a friend.) I went off on all of them before the bride and strippers arrived. Luckily, the bride's cousins who were not BMs chipped in because I was going to cancel it. I do not like strippers. That party, had I paid for the entire thing, would have costs $400+. That was unacceptable since I had already paid for almost the entire bridal shower. And this is an example of why I never wanted and will never be in another person's wedding.

My BM dress turned out very well. My tailor is the best. My tailor keep mentioning that I could have ordered the next size down...I know! (The dress shop could not believe I did not want them to alter my dress. F___ you!)

I did not know that this was going to turn into a rant...back to our regular scheduled programming...

Goodness, that really sucks! I can't believe there's all this drama going into a wedding - how can they make the wedding a nice experience for everyone if there's all this crap going on. Sounds like you pulled it off, but that's rough hug

Err....that's such a huge difference. I don't know why they can't get things right. shake head Lined is definitely better. They should line every color, but I'm okay without the lining on the black, but for such an expensive dress, like you said, it should be lined.

Typically, wedding planning is stressful when you have a big family or when the parents are paying. My friend had both those going on. She was also graduating from college a few months before her wedding date. She dealt with the planning very well. Luckily, she did not have to deal with the behind-the-scenes of the parties. She did have to talk to her friend who was jealous. I would have ended the friendship and kicked her out of the wedding.

The dinner was amazing. Steak or crab cake. I had no idea that you could get seconds at a served reception. So I had two crab cake dinners. Yup! And they had the best afterparty at her parents' home. A lot of us were spending the night, so we had the best time. The party continued when the bride and groom left. Good times.
