i thinkt he knockout bra is uniboob bra, at least for GH. i didn't think it was that great either.

they did them at christmas time. they stopped maybe 2-3 years ago. they even did a roller one year.

Yep, that's right, just the one bag with the beauty products. Not the same. Rather have the bag!

Hehe, yah. It was back in 2005-2006-ish? I think the last time they had it was like 2007 or 08? That's when they changed it from Christmas to the spring one. Which was the last trios, ever.

Puerto Rico is great too. You'll have so much fun! I went with my boyfriend last year. Old San Juan is really neat, there's so much to do. I'm assuming you're staying in San Juan for a business trip. If you have time, try a day trip to El Yunque or a snorkeling tour of Culebra. Now I want to go back to PR too...

You're right, that's not the only reason some people don't like my nephew's wife. Basically, she's too selfish to be in a close family. You can't have an "all about me" attitude & coexist happily in a big family. All of us would do anything for each other. All the others who married into the family have joined in perfectly. My nephew is one of the biggest family people you'll ever meet. That's made it even harder for him. She appeared to be a different person, until she started planning the wedding. That brought her true personality out. My nephew actually asked me if he should leave at their wedding. . I have a feeling he knew she was pregnant or he would have. Obviously, they do have a little boy. Everybody loves him to death. He's a baby doll. I try my best to treat her the same as all the rest for the sake of my sister & nephew. We get along good, but I have the ability to ignore her when she tells me what to do or acts like she knows everything. The others can't seem to do that.

Everyone has their own opinion & who's to say which is right or wrong? I didn't think my wedding was all about me to do exactly what I wanted, regardless of whom I offended along the way. My wedding was about my DH & me becoming one & sharing our celebration with our family & friends. It was just as important to me that my inlaws felt a part of the wedding as it was for my family to. To me, a wedding day is one day on a person's life. Life isn't about the wedding it's about the marriage. I would have done anything at my wedding that would have made our life together better. There's a reason the Bridezillas show exists. People shouldn't behave that way. They're a joke & entertainment for others, but not in a good way.

Family situations are hard. And I feel like for Chinese weddings, you're supposed to invite everyone you know to get red envelope gifts (money). The more you invite, the more money you receive. But in my opinion, the costs outweigh the benefits. I've had a friend's sister get married and her father invited all his business associates --wtf? Our family has even received wedding invitations for 2nd? 3rd? cousins that I've met only ONCE. But invitations are also extended out to collect red envelope money. I guess it's like "we can't go, but here, congrats, and here's some money." We didn't go, but my parents paid up. But I guess it's also a respect thing. Though I may have my wedding perceptions one way, I'm hoping my parents won't butt in and want me to invite extended family we don't care about. traditions.

I got the bra today

That's awesome, Antigua is so beautiful! We rented a villa there back in 2008 and had such a great time. I would go back in a heartbeat, but there are so many places I haven't been yet.

Friends of mine loved Antigua so much that they are considering moving there. It sounds incredible. I've never been to that part of the world. DBF has a conference in Puerto Rico in October. I was just rejected by mine, which was supposed to be the same weekend, so I booked a flight to do Puerto Rico with him. I've never been to any sort of island or tropical place. I burn really easily, but I bet it's beautiful.

It is for a business trip. One of his colleagues used to live in St. Croix, so I guess we're going there for the weekend. It's supposed to be less touristy, but I don't really know much about the area. I guess after her Ph.D., she sort of burned out, bought a sail boat, and lived around the islands on her boat for a year and a half. She's a really interesting person. Well, now I have an excuse to get new bathing suits I really like the purple floral gorgeous one.

I tend to frequent the same places because I travel alone a lot. When I have a companion, then I go to new places.

I hope the strife ceases. I am not saying my views or yours are wrong. They are both right in relation to our experiences. Nowadays, people do not really want to get married. They want a wedding. I do not actually want to get married because I do not want to be stuck with someone forever. I like planning weddings, but I see so much craziness from the bride and groom or their parents or their bridal party or the guest or a combination. I agree that people are so focused on the wedding day that they neglect the marriage. Sometimes immediately after the wedding, the bride and groom are like "now what???" I used to like Bridezillas in the early season because although the brides were over-the-top, it seemed organic. The brides did the same things on camera that they would have done had the cameras not been present because they had to have the perfect wedding. Now it is blantly scripted.
