The Limited has a tracking number from my order yesterday...amazing. I thought they weren't shipping anything. Where is my order from 2 weeks ago? How obnoxious...

Anyone here? What are you ladies using as facial cleanser and moisturizer? I use Bare Essentials RareMinerals Purifying Facial Cleanser and Purely Norishing Facial Moisturizer. However, I purchased Simple (Sensitive Skin Experts) Refreshing Facial Wash Gel recently, and I decided to try it today. I have not been using it long enough to give a review, but I am hoping I like it. I prefer foaming cleansers, but I am not sure if foam is good for the face. I used to use a foaming cleanser by Neutrogena.

I didnt like the Simple one much. I use a cleanser by Boscia. I think Olay makes a decent one for sensitive skin. It was a Slickdeal FP a little while back.

I use Clinique liquid facial soap. My daughter uses Clean and Clear Sensitive foaming cleanser.

i just bought some simple products as well! (cvs? Coverlaugh) but not the face wash. i use olay foaming face wash for senstive skin. i prefer it over the clean & clear sensitive foaming cleanser as clean & clear has fragrance. i also use clean & clear daily pore cleanser for very mild exfoliation. i've been using these 2 for awhile now. i first remove eye makeup with almay mu remover (not necessarily a favorite - i just have a lot of it from wags deals last year) and face makeup with a wipe (using olay sensitive wipes right now but i go through a lot and have a few brands that i use - favorite is neutrogena).

i bought simple face wipes and simple moisturizer for my ecb's.

imo less is more when it comes to face wash, as long as it removes dirt & makeup. i like the mild ones - i use my clarisonic with them. a lot of the foam ones dry out my skin when used with clarisonic but the olay sensitive has been ok.

I absolutely love philosophy purity. It's my favorite cleanser ever. I also use clinique moisture surge (or the yellow one depending on the GWP). It's a regimen that works for my face, so I don't plan on switching any time soon. Oh, and I use Ole Truth serum twice daily and their Protect the Truth SPF 50 as a moisturizer if I'm going to be riding my bike to work or doing something outside.

I just wrote to Clinque asking them what their ingredients are. I was thinking of trying that.

I have heard of Boscia, but never knew anyone who used it.

Hahaha...I got the Simple at CVS also. My BF loves Garnier wipes to take off her makeup in a hurry at night (two kids), so I actually purchased the Simple wipes for her to try. (I will try them also.) I used the Simple Facial Wash at least an hour ago without a moisturizer, and my face feels good. My eye makeup remover is by Bare Escentuals. I actually do not use a traditional makeup remover. I just take off my eye makeup, and then wash my face. BE facial wash takes off dirt and makeup. Not sure if the Simple takes off makeup as I did not have any on today. I have not used Olay in years. They used to have a misturizer I loved, but they removed it from the market. By the time they re-introduced it (or my store stocked it), I was uninterested. I found an old Olay facial wash in the back of my linen closet. It was in a blue bottle, I doubt they produce it any longer. I used to use Clean & Clear in HS, not sure why I stopped using that either.

It is not that I do not like BE facial cleanser. I just have a thing for toiletries.

Does Purity have a scent? I do enjoy a few Philosophy products, but some of the scents are too much for me. I actually believe my aunt swears by Purity.

I think the Simple started to leave a residue on my skin. I have to have a somewhat clean feeling or it's a no-go laugh out loud

The Boscia is pretty good. Pricey though.

the olay face wash i use is blue. not sure if it's the same. i'm really anal about removing all my makeup, which is why i use wipes and face brush + cleanser. i'm a little weird in that sense. i don't use a toner anymore, which used to help me remove excess dirt, so i have to rely on the cleanser. you'd be surprised by how much your normal cleanser leaves behind. (i'm sure i was a victim of great marketing by clarisonic, but it's been very effective for me)

there are a lot of good cleansers. i prefer to use drugstore ones as i don't feel they need to have any special ingredients - they just need to be gentle but remove makeup. i personally did not like purity - it does have a scent, and it broke me out. but i know it is a popular cleanser! i just have very sensitive skin.

that "clean feeling" is what dries out my skin - i have learned to live without it! laugh out loud i just need to feel like i have no more makeup on, and without my skin feeling tight. a lot of cleansers leave my face feeling tight. my skin is very picky tho. i love trying new stuff but due to the wedding i've been being good and using old stuff that i know won't break me out.

I use Boscia moisturizer with SPF. I really don't like most SPF moisturizers because it's much too thick for me and Boscia is nice and is oil free.

I tried Purity, but the scent is so strong, I had to push myself to finish it. I personally did not like it.

I use a pricey Japanese brand cleanser, but sparingly, only when I break out or my few times a week ritual with my Clarisonic, otherwise, my skin is too sensitive and will produce too much oil if I use anything aside from water too often.

I used to use a toner as my 2nd step. Not sure why I stopped, but I know what you mean. You cleanse your face, and then apply your toner and there is still dirt. Yuck! I am not interested in a Clarisonic because I am not sure I would use it regularily. I thought I had thrown the Olay away, but I had not. Checked on Olay's site, and I do have the current bottle. It is the same one you have. (That is what happens when you are a couponer.) I am going to put it in the front of the linen closet and use it soon.

i also have the olay pro-x brush along with clarisonic. i think the results are the same and the olay is better for sensitive skin - it's not as drying. but i do love how clean my face feels after cleansing with a brush. (i like how the clarisonic feels, but it is def more irritating to my skin)

the olay is pretty effective at removing makeup without leaving my face dry. i think i'm down to 1-2 bottles of it (couponer also here, tho i haven't really couponed this year so i'm making my way through my stash). i can't say that it's the only one i'll use, but i've been pretty happy with it so far. i have the one made for sensitive skin - not sure what the difference is. mine is in tube form but i know it also comes in the dispenser form with pump and they're probably the same formula.

i'm so glad i no longer need the toner after washing! now i splash a japanese toner on my face before i moisturize, but it's more for added moisture than to tone.

Well I defnitely dont like anything that dries out my skin. I wont use bar soap for that reason. I dont need squeaky clean either...but some cleansers just leave an icky film on my face. Boscia's Clear Complexion one doesnt so currently I like that one. I used to use a cheap one (Eucerin Pore Purifying) but the idiots discontinued it Mad

On the subject of toners: I dont think they are really needed for anything, so I think if you like one it's cool but if you dont feel you need one that is fine too.
