That's what I've been doing, but it's a slow process. I forgot about another pair I gave up on. It's the shoes my DH wanted me to keep. They are w/o a doubt the most uncomfortable shoes I ever put on my feet. I told him I was going to forget trying to break them in. I'm only going to wear them in the cabin & on the balcony for dinner one night. After that, they'll go to the back of my closet where never worn shoes go to die. laugh out loud

My problem is I only need to break in the toe box. If I stretch the heel, it moves up & down on my foot. I've been stuffing damp socks into them at night trying to stretch them a little. I'm considering cutting up old socks to only leave the ball of foot & toe area & use those to break the shoes in.
