i was just in the store and they said it was discontinued. in the most current catalog it looks discontinued as well! they don't have it available in many colors in my size so it looks like it may be on its way out... Frown

For my wedding, I am paying for the BM's makeup so they can all look pretty! Not the other way around!!
maybe you can help assure her that regardless of makeup company, they will ensure that the bride gets the most attention. bridesmaids, while important, are always secondary on a wedding day. they will spend an hour for hair + makeup for a bridesmaid, and 3 hours for hair + makeup for the bride. that's just how it is. (knowing this beforehand as a bridesmaid also helps you not hate the makeup artist when they don't spend as much time on you) i paid for my bridesmaids' hair and makeup - i just wanted them to not have to stress about getting themselves made up. i felt bad that 1 bridesmaid was hot all day tho, bc i had suggested she leave her hair down bc her dress was long (to even out the look - otherwise too formal looking). her curls came out pretty fast bc she was sweating and her hair stuck to her. i should have just let her put it up like the others.

I don't even know if she will hire anyone for makeup shake head But if she does, I'll definitely keep saying stuff like she's pretty and such. Which is what I just plan on saying when we go dress shopping with her next weekend. I don't mind one bit at all if she does use the makeup people, but I guess I'm fine if I have to pay for my own and not have them spend much time on me. yeah it's amazing you can't tell we're sweating. it was so dang hot.

you won't look weird! just ask to look neutral with a naked eye and that's what they'll do. hopefully she'll take your suggestions and use a makeup artist. otherwise she WILL look plain... it helps SO MUCH with standing out in photos. and you shouldn't be worried about your hair falling out - her wedding is probably a great opportunity to test out an updo to see if that's what you might want for your own wedding. (of course, don't tell her it's a test run... lol) they're really good about putting in adequate pins and such - my hair usually falls out of everything and it didn't budge AT ALL. i was so shocked that my curls stayed in till the end of the night (3am) - that's a first!

hopefully she'll realize that she's being silly and of course it'll be about her bc it's her wedding. i think it's really sad that she has this great group of supportive girls that were genuinely excited to help out (or at least, you were!) but that her actions are causing you to be less excited.

if i don't make it back in here, i'll be MIA for awhile! see you guys soon!
