I had a similar experience at Frederick's, which is why I don't order from them anymore.

I actually bought a $20 shirt and sent it back with my own postage (with tracking). They charged me for their label, and I even gave them the tracking number I paid for.. I called twice, and both times, they told me that the $7.95 was a processing fee. I told them on their website it was a called a "shipping and handling" fee, yet they never shipped nor handled my package. I was probably on the phone for two hours going back and forth between people, and they still wouldn't take the charge away.

At one point, the man even said, "Well, it would have been cheaper if you hadn't sent it yourself, since you were going to be charged $7.95 regardless." or something along those lines.

I got so mad that I stopped ordering really quickly...unless it's something I REALLY like and know will fit...they're just not worth the hassles of returning. That MAJORLY turned me off to that store.

Also, if you place an online VS order in store, you get free shipping AND returns. I just learned this.
I ultimately had my CC company refund me the erroneous FOH charges.

All you party girls, help a lightweight out! Anybody have any hangover remedies? When I overindulge, I'm a zombie the next day. I don't want to spend my entire vacation feeling like the walking dead, because I may have a glass of wine too many. Help!!!

a friend liked the big sexy hair spray in the red bottle. i can't vouch for any tho, as i usually don't use hair spray at all.

sorry about the sweaters. :hug : i know i pushed you into buying them in the first place. express is frustrating that way.
Don't worry about it. You're right that I would have been unhappy, if something I really wanted sold out or it didn't arrive in time. It's not a big deal. hug

Link the ones you keep krusty!
That definitely looks like the bottle she was holding.

man, so many of the minus the leather jackets are already OOS in my size in the colors i want. :sadwalk : i wanted sand or clay... idk if i should just get a black bc i don't have a black moto leather jacket and i always find black useful. should i get a black XS? i tried on the XS and S in store and while both fit, i preferred the fit of the S to wear sweaters under. :sadwalk : guess i can check in store...
Oh no! I hadn't checked them recently. I was planning to buy those jackets for 2 of my nieces & one for myself. Frown I was waiting for black Friday. Any chance they'll restock?

Quote from azn1x6flame :
Nope, can't return in stores! Probably best to just see if they have it in store and try it on!

I did! All her friends there were so young! And I was tired really early versus when I was there back when I was in my early 20s!!

Ahh, gotcha! I was hoping for wrapp stacking, but I read the faqs just in case and that doesn't work for stacking : shake: I'm outta regular Sephora GCs! Can't figure out what to get with the $10 GC :l ol:
Partying definitely adds up on you faster as you get older.

Frederick's of Hollywood is one of the worst stores I have ever patronized. Its customer service is terrible. Its clothing quality is on par with Forever 21...one and done. I would never spend my money with the company or any company affliated with it.
I only have 1 shirt from Fredericks and never ordered another one. I will be passing on their costumes and corsets from now on. I don't like the cone-boob look.

If I know I've had too much I'll sometimes make myself puke it up. I know it's nasty and I don't recommend doing it much. Drink plenty if water, eat something, and take some tyenol. best thing to do is know your limit and cut yourself off and then drink water. Some places we go are hard because the servers keep filling up the wine glass.

Nobody think I'm crazy for saying that. I rarely drink.

Alcohol dehydrates the body so the only way to counter act it is to drink plenty of water. Try drinking a glass of water after every glass of wine. I like to drink a super sized glass of water or juice before I go to bed.

They have always had a larger corset selection than VS, but it's not worth it to me. The only thing that held up for me was a cute ruffle halter dress. However, one day I noticed that one side of the top had faded. It made no sense.

One glass is my limit. Even with that, I pee all night. I drink lots of water though.

Thanks girls. Drinking water anytime makes me nauseous w/o fruit to complement it. After I've been drinking, I gag on it. (I know I'm strange. Embarrassment) Obviously, I need to find a way to force myself to drink it. I don't usually have any adverse affects, except for being lethargic. I hate feeling that way though.

water is the easiest way to counteract alcohol. i try to drink 1 glass of water per drink. and please, eat something. greasy foods soak up alcohol better. you'll probably have to go off your diet for that.

if you don't like water - coconut water is awesome. it's been my secret savior to combatting hangovers. (you can also drink gatorade or any other electrolyte rehydrating drink). like teenbean said, you basically have to rehydrate your body bc alcohol dehydrates you. i've found the older i get, the more water i need to drink to not have that awful headache.

also, don't take tylenol - take advil instead. tylenol is processed in the liver while advil is in the kidneys - if you're drinking, give your liver a break and use your kidneys. (of course this is moot if you have a reaction to ibuprofen)

i also think it's best to not go to sleep drunk. if you feel really woozy, stay awake, walk around, go dancing - do something to work it off. i think it helps your body process it better. Dontknow i've also done this for friends who were on the brink of getting sick - if you keep them up and walking around/dancing, they are less likely to be sick. (yes, i did this at my wedding. OMG)

All the advice the girls gave are super good and on point. I usually eat a larger dinner before a night of drinking. I don't have a problem with dinner + drinks because I'm eating. Make sure what you're having is greasy as well so that the oil will soak up the alcohol. Lots of breads/carbs for padding in the stomach.

Definitely drink lots of water, as much as you can and go pee a lot to get it out of your system.

If you do go to sleep with a headache, a greasy breakfast should work. I usually wash that down with 7up or Gatorade. I haven't had a hangover for many years now and that's because I prep myself well beforehand. Hate that feeling. So pad your stomach well and you should be good!

Forget the diet! I'll be happy, if I keep my weight gain at 10 lbs. laugh out loud I don't diet on vacation. I'll be eating plenty, & much of it will be carbs. I can't wait to eat all the bread, desserts, & pasta I want. drool

I don't usually have a headache or nausea, when I overindulge. It's the lethargy that I hate. I just have no energy at all.

nerdi, I'm sorry you had to deal with that at your wedding, but you're a great friend.

azn, you're lucky you never have a hangover. I'll try the tricks you all have given my & hope I can say the same. If I could find a way to combat the fatigue, I'd have it made.

laugh out loud i thought i was the only one... ask my DH he usually prepares multiple water bottles for me if we're driving anywhere outside of a 5 mile radius. i used to sleep with a water bottle but now i just keep a mug of water next to the bed.

hmmm water/fluids will help, but i don't know if there's anything else that can combat the fatigue. 5 hour energy in the morning? Dontknow

and it wasn't a big deal. i was just happy she wasn't sick, and that she didn't puke on my dress. Smilie laugh out loud
