So I found this site [tumblr.com] today. It is about tips and tricks to prevent being raped. While it is aimed towards women some of these could still apply to men. What? Men do get raped as well.

Here is some advice from me. As a rape victim I have to tell you it's very degrading and mine was very violent. As you can tell I was able to live through it. However, some people don't live through it. While I actually talk about my sexual preferences online, what people fail to realize is mine is actually just harmless role play. Being raped in real life isn't cool at all. So here is some of my advice. *Mods feel free to delete this if you deem it inappropriate.*
  1. While the site above is correct it fails to mention if someone has just picked you out for whatever reason, they will rape you. It wont matter if your hair is long or short. You're their type. Sadly, they know they could never have you in real life so they must violate you in the worst way to have you.
  2. During the act of rape help break that fantasy. Bite them, scream obscenities, defecate on them and basically degrade them while they are trying to degrade you.
  3. Look them straight in the face. Remember as much details as possible. While I know this isn't easy because of what is going on it is very important. This will later help you identify your rapist.
  4. Sadly lots of rapes go unreported because the person blames themselves. Please make a report, you did nothing wrong. If you don't make a report this person could do this to you again or someone else.

You're not alone and sadly this happens a lot. Nothing you could have done would have prevented this outcome. Unless of course, you stay in your house and shut the world out. Then you really wouldn't be living now would you?
