Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

Woo Hoo!!!! Hole #1 is dug!!! Got 14"X14" and went to check the directions on the rose and it said just slightly bigger than the root ball (1 gallon container) so I ended up making the hole too big. Mixed cow poop/compost and Miracle Grow Garden Soil 1/4 to 3/4 and filled it up to where I could set the rose in and mixed the rest of the mixture with the dirt I took out of the hole. Mounded it up, mashed it down and made a moat around it to retain water and let the hose on it for 15 minutes!!!
I PLANTED MY 1ST ROSE!!!!! YAY! 2 more to go!

Not sure what kind of mulch to use. We have a mulcher so I will try that. Have some pretty blocks to form around it as a retainer. All I really need is something to keep the lawnmower from getting to it!! Sister cant tell weeds from flowers!!!! I'll take a picture once i get the mulch around it and its not such a mud-fest!!! nod

My grandma taught me as we walked through her yards! She had people stop all the time to say how beautiful it was. Glad I remembered some of it!!!
