Keep me company in the hospital :whee:

No seriously, someone keep me company, lol. They're gonna keep coming in to check on me and I'm not gonna be able to sleep anyway.
Last night I was with friends. Had a stroke type event. Ambulance came to restaurant. Started to feel better by the time they got there (they couldn't find the restaurant, lol). Went home. Now I'm at hospital. They admitted me. Ran loads of tests. Haven't found anything yet. Hurrah.
So anyway I finally got connected to the internet. Hello hello hello. Is there anybody out there? Just nod if you can heeeeear me...
Also no Lortabs. Blah, lol.

Either way, if you hadn't replied in 2 more days I was planning on Paypal-ing you odd amounts for no particular reason. And you'd have gotten emails about how so-and-so just sent you $1.57!
You do know you can't actually resurrect yourself, right?
Or ask for an itemized bill. Bet you'll find them listed somewhere.

Your symptoms do sound like a mini stroke...very similar to something my brother's ex-wife had many years ago (I think she was in her early 40's)...and now she participates in half-triathlons. I do think you will make it through with flying colors (or was that from the loritabs before?
I am thinking this might be tied to your anxiety and hoping that once this is all behind you the anxiety will be in your past too.
Soak up as much attention at the hospital as you can.
On one hand I am sorry that you are going through this...on the other hand...now you are so bored and you are stuck there for a bit so you kind of have to be visiting in the lounge...
My friends were so great during the whole thing. I realized I really must be having a problem when it occurred to me that I was totally the center of attention at the restaurant and I didn't care and I didn't ask anyone to take my picture, lol.
I think a lot of my problems have to do with anxiety too. Course this hospital bill doesn't help with that, haha but at least when I leave here I'll have some idea of what's going on with me. And now, dang it...I could order breakfast but I'm not hungry! Grrr. But last night when I couldn't get food I was staaaarving. There isn't a fridge or anything in here but they bring me water and it has ice like Sonic ice!!
Yeah and to think I first told my husband "Nah, you probably don't need to bring me my laptop." Heck I would have been so so bored last night if I hadn't been able to post here, lol.

After pondering over it all morning I finally decided to get some bacon. So I call and said "I'd like to get the cheddar and bacon omelet" and she says "Well you can have swiss cheese but no cheddar because that's too high in salt and you can't have bacon because that's too high in salt but you can have onions!" Fark no I don't want onions, lol. She said I'm on a restricted low salt diet but I wasn't yesterday and the thing on my wall says "Diet - Reg" and the nurses keep telling me I'm not on any restrictions. So I was like "Fark you, I'll just have skim milk and some fruit." I didn't say fark you though, lol.
She said she couldn't form the words she as trying to form or couldn't comprehend words she was trying to read. BP was like 220/120 right after.
Stayed the night in the hospital and they did MRI and EKG and stuff, and couldn't find anything wrong with her, but she's on BP meds now, too.
