Hello Everyone. Hope life is treating you good and you're all winning lots of neat stuff. Haven't had time to enter but a few contests.

Life's been crazy. DIL had to go into the hospital almost two weeks ago because she was losing amniotic fluid. Her Mom and sister came and helped with the two boys, 4 1/2 and 20 mos, for about three days. Then we came last Wednesday. DIL had the baby by C-section on Friday. Baby was only 28 weeks along. He was 3 lbs 3 oz and 15 1/2 in long. So far he is doing okay. We went and saw him yesterday. DIL came home from the hospital this evening but the baby will be in the hospital for a long time.

Before all this happened I had made reservations for my mother to visit. She'll be coming tomorrow. Am expecting both our sons and their sons (3 not counting the new one) to be visiting this coming weekend. My mom will be visiting for two weeks.

I'm beginning to think that life will never be normal again, or maybe this is normal.

Haven't used mine yet but I see a stamp on the back. Gonna try next time. Was going to wait for Xmas gifts for Grand doggie and cats. LOL always have a Xmas gift for them 3.

Air Conditioner - is now fixed. Store sent out 2 repairmen who slanted it one inch downward. Stubborn here kept referring to the manual where it really does say it can be level and does not need to be angled out. No more water. A very thin frame on the window (metal) and I could now understand why he was afraid to angle it and there is no sill outside. Stupid windows. Wish I could afford new ones. However, it was really putting a strain on the small-framed window and I was afraid it would pull it out. Very heavy unit. So Sam built a very nice stand for it (looks like a pedestal and is hidden by a holly bush) to support it. so even tho it is cool out but it is damp i am running it continuously as I cannot believe there is no water. I will wait one more day and put the curtains back up and furniture back. (the water apparently was running down the electric cord and onto the rug that was why the wall was not wet. This is my guess only.) Hope I am right. It is supposed to rain hard tomorrow so that will be the test. Fingers crossed.

Good afternoon! Though it still feels like morning. I am weary of birthday parties, been to 3 in the past 2 weeks and have to travel to Houston this week for another. Gets hard on the pocketbook!

Which was a pleasant surprise, and then I received them on Saturday! That's the 2nd pair I've won, this pair is gold and the other silver, but very nice.

My daughter had her 1st drs appt.last week since learning she is expecting. She feels like she's in good hands, but it's still a high risk situation. Apparently we'll know more at 20 weeks (she is 10 weeks), at this time the placenta plants into the utuerus, if it implants on a good healthy part we can relax a lot more. If not, she could bleed out at delivery....so please pray and think positive thoughts for her, thank you!

I got an email yesterday:

I won a $10 gc for dollar general from some contest and they wanted a paper notiorized and a copy of my DL. I threw it away, it expired before I even had a chance, but never would have anyway. Ridiculous!

OK, Here's the scoop and ya know I am not good with short stories.

I got a plan. I called back to CLink, the 1st guy gave me higher prices than the girl this morning. So I asked him why, and he said unfortunately I can't get that price. So he sent me to the "retention" manager or something like that. Here's what I ended up with

$39.99 for up to 10 mbps.
Did take the 1 year contract, cause his was a 20$ difference in the price. And I will be able to keep this price after the 1 year IF I remember to call back in just before it's over. Otherwise it goes up to 59.99 a month.

We did talk the modem I just got the other day, it will NOT work for this.
I could buy my own or a one time charge and buy theirs. I would have liked to go buy my own, except if I don't buy theirs, they won't give me support,they would just refer me to the manufacturer.

So I have 1 time charge of 29.95 plus 14.95$ Shipping.

That's with getting rid of my regular home phone. It usually run about 34$ month , so only a difference of about $6 a month(plus the one time modem charge)

Thinking I didn't do too bad.........but won't be here till Thursday.

It is now vent time: I hate Walmart. I won all these Purina coupons - about maybe $70 worth. Wrote a list and took Sam along in case they gave me a problem. They did. Walmart has a new policy because of cheaters and they accused me of printing and copying mine. Some of mine had stamps on the back and some did not. because Purina printed the stamps in the wrong places on the back - some of them in the blank spaces where there were no coupons on the front and some had the stamps on the back in the proper place. but they called a meeting with the mgr and 3 other sales people that i know for years and courtesy desk people to decide if i am a fraud. good thing i brought the envelopes and sheets where the coupons were attached. but then they saw my name and sam's and decided firstly they could not take multiple names. but there are 2 of us big as life. ok, they agreed to make an exception but still insisted i printed them and they were fakes. I went slightly ballistic. After staying up all night to win these? I told them off good. and loud. they absolutely would not take the ones without the stamps on the exact back of each coupon so I wound up with $31 of free pet stuff. I am calling Purina tomorrow - principle not the money. It is like I worked and they refused to give me my salary. I will try Petsmart and see what they will do and then give up. That is not correct nor is it right. amen. thanks. Just came home so if any of you have them be careful and check the backs. Stupid people and cheaters probably ruined it for us.
