Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

PS: Back around 1980 this simple old cowboy was once a CEO of a large international corporation, LOL. Back before the larger than life salaries and when you left you generally got a golden shower rather than a golden parachute.

I fully understand your frustration, believe me! It seems, now days, that too many people are content to sit back and accept everything that is thrown at them as the truth, and even if it is proven wrong, take a ho-hum attitude. I have been seeing this a lot, especially with important social issues, such as the one issue I am deeply concerned with, the corporate take over of our government. I know this is quite a bit deeper than your issue but the sentiment is the same. I applaud your efforts. Some of us do care!

There were 2 different contests that had sunglasses as a prize.
The expensive ones were won by very few. In the rules for the wayfarer glasses they were described as costing $12 and were a lower tier prize and won by alot. I dont like that style but I can give them away as a gift. They werent meant to be expensive looking but a win is a win. Someone will like them since they are apparently in style! (not by me!)

The knock offs were the prize that was promised. Did some checking and Ray Ban licensed to the China factory when they were bought by the Italian company.Let us know if they do anything but I doubt they will since its the prize they said it would be. Can always buy some bling stickers for it.
