begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on September 5th, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on September 26th, 2012
ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open and offered only to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) Continental United States, including the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age and who are licensed driver's possessing a valid driver's license at the time of entry.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, you may enter by doing the following on Pinterest.com: (1) follow @VolvoCarsUS pinterest boards or go to pinterest.com/VolvoCarsUS and click the "follow" button; (2) create a pinboard and title it "Volvo Joyride"; you must then "pin" at least one item for each of the following categories: Volvo vehicle, Road Trip Destination, Road Trip Playlist, Road Trip Outfit, and Roadside Stops; (3) your pinboard must include an image of a Volvo S60 T5 AWD; (4) your pinboard must have a minimum of 5 pins; and (5) hashtag each of your pins with: #VolvoJoyride in everything you pin so that we may find your entries in the search results (1,2,3,4 and 5,collectively, "Entry"). LIMIT one (1) entry/board per person, per email address, per Pinterest account.
If you do not receive your invite within 24 hours, please email [email protected] to obtain an invite. Once you are a member of Pinterest, to enter the Contest.
THREE (3) PRIZES: Three (3) Grand Prize Winners, upon confirmation of eligibility, will each receive the following prize package: (a) One (1) 4-day lease of a Volvo S60 T5 AWD ("Vehicle"); (b) two (2) night stay in a hotel at their road trip destination (c) one (1) $250 Gas Gift Card; (d) one (1) $250 VISA gift card; (e) one (1) $250 clothing retailer gift card; and (f) one (1) $50 iTunes gift card (a, b, c, d e and f, collectively, "Prize"). Approximate retail value ("ARV") of each Prize package is $1,400. The ARV of the all Prizes: $4,200.

WINNER SELECTION: On September 28th, 2012, the Sponsor-designated judges will narrow the entrants down from all entrants to five (5), based on the following criteria:
• Number of likes, re-pins, comments—we will add up the total amount of comments, likes, and re-pins by each entrant. The five (5) entrants with the most total likes, re-pins, and comments will move on to the second round of judging.
On October 1st, 2012, the (5) final entrants will be narrowed down to three (3) Grand Prize Winners based upon the following criteria:
• Creativity of pins and pinboard as a whole (does the pinboard tell a "road trip story") (0-25 points)
• Interaction from Fan-base, including number of likes, repins, and comments (based on the average of the final five (5) entrants) (0-25 points)
• Quality of images/video (based on total entrants) (0-25 points)
• Social Sharing—Did the participant share their pin and/or pinboard on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media channels? (0-25 points)
