I love the complete overhaul to iTunes. It's about time they paid attention to their core product.
It's funny that I always see so much hatred towards Apple, but not all that much from Apple-fans towards Android. Apparently people don't get the whole live and let live. Use what OS you like best and move the hell on with life.
If you don't like the iPhone and iOS, why bother bitching about what Apple does or doesn't include? Unless you have stock in the company, your bitching is just, well, bitching for the sake of bitching.
I only own one small Memorex radio that has the old pins. Since I only paid $20 for it, I will give it to my daughter to use with her ipod touch. It's no biggie to me.
Like my Motorola Startac was the same chargers as my Motorola V60.
My V3 was the same as my T720 and my E680i
I'm just trololoing apple fanboys, i agree that the connector should've been updated
heck technically they did update the connector like 5 or 6 years ago when the ipod touch came out.
If you had a dock/accessory pre-ipod touch, the dock wouldn't charge any of the newer ipod revisions as it was missing a pin or something. I'm talking about back in the day when you had the Firewire wall outlet, not the USB wall outlet (Ipod Gen 4/Ipod Mini days).
But honestly what wouldn't have been disappointing? microSD slot.
WHY NOT OPEN IT UP APPLE?
And lets be honest, reason it doesn't have a microSD/NFC info isn't security as much as its trying to control/close the OS environment.

Does this have NFC? Nope...better screen than others out there? Nope...Better Camera Hardware? Nope...
It is like they are taking a half ass approach to everything now.
The Gamer guys will mock me, but Nokia laid it down on Apple hardware wise. It will not translate to sales like it should however (because even if you don't think you are, there are millions that will by a device JUST because it says Apple on it, thus the iSheep).
How about point and shoot camera technology making it into a cell phone? How about adopting the wireless charging standard and partnerships so you can charge your phone while flying on a plane without wires...how about a screen that is sharper than a Retina display, plus larger, plus so responsive you can use it with gloves on?
So, go ahead, buy the $200 device that has a screen that should have been released in 2010...Samsung and Nokia are showing how their device beats the competition, Apple just keeps saying "Look, this is better than our phone from 2011!!!" Well, no sh*t...
