13: A Contest of an Iconic Year
To commemorate an iconic year, Burton will be giving away 13 huge prizes between 9/15 and 11/5, including a full board setup, a trip to Vail and everything in between. New prizes will be revealed and awarded every few days on burton13contest.com, so be sure to check back daily.
On November 8th, the grand prize winner will be announced and will take home all 12 prizes – whoa. That means enter now, and enter often. Hint: you can enter up to 13 times a day. Good luck.
All entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM EST on the end dates shown in the chart below and will be included in the Entry Period drawing for the Entry Period the entry was received. For Entry Period Drawings: Entries submitted during a Entry Period will be eligible for the Entry Period drawing in which it was submitted. You can enter up to thirteen (13) entries per day. If more than thirteen (13) entries are received from an entrant, only the first 13 entries will be accepted. Entries do not roll over to subsequent drawings. For the purposes of this Sweepstakes an Entry Period is defined a period with Start and End dates as listed in the Entry & Drawing Periods Chart below. There is a limit of one (1) prize per person.
Prize Descriptions and Odds of Winning:
Entry Period 1 – One (1) Winner will receive a Collector's Edition Movie Package. Includes a one-of-a-kind box set including one copy of the Burton 13 Movie, commemorative tee-shirt, cap, and photograph. ARV: $100.00.
Entry Period 2 - One (1) Winner will receive a Bag of Burton Tech Apparel. Includes one Burton wheelie Flight deck, bonded hoodie, flannel, and bottom. ARV: $100.00.
Entry Period 3 - One (1) Winner will receive a Go Pro/Red/Anon Package. Includes one Go Pro HD Camcorder, Red Helmet, and pair of Anon Goggles. ARV: $500.00.
Entry Period 4 - One (1) Winner will receive a 2012-2013 Winter Season Pass to your local ski/snowboarding resort. ARV: $1,000.00. One Adult 2012-2013 Season Pass to your local resort. Winner subject to all resort rules and policies. Once confirmed, season passes cannot be changed by winner. Travel to and from the resort and accommodations are the sole responsibility of the winner. No extensions will be permitted, and any unused portions of package will be forfeited. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer and may not be separated. In the event the Season Pass is less than the ARV stated in these rules no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value.
Entry Period 5 - One (1) Winner will receive $1,300 worth of GMP outerwear courtesy of Mountain Dew. ARV: $1,300.00. Specific merchandise apparel determined by Sponsor.
Entry Period 6 - One (1) Winner will receive a Burton Mystery Board. ARV: $1,500.00.
Entry Period 7 - One (1) Winner will receive an AK outerwear and Family Tree Board Package. Includes 1 board ARV: $700, 1 jacket and pant ARV: $800 ARV: $1,500.00. Specific merchandise apparel determined by Sponsor.
Entry Period 8 - One (1) Winner will receive a Snow At Home Backyard Riglet Park. A do-it-yourself snow gun for your back yard which allows you to make snow at home. Also included are the items to create a small learn to snowboard "Riglet®" park in your back yard. ARV: $1,500.00.
Entry Period 9 - One (1) Winner will receive a Grateful Dead Collector's Package. Includes one Burton Easy Livin' Snowboard, one Grateful Dead Vinyl box set, and the Spring 1990: So Glad You Made It 2-cd set. ARV: $1,500.00.
Entry Period 10 - One (1) Winner will receive a 3 day/2 night trip for two (2) to the US Open Snowboarding Championship in Vail, CO. ARV: $5,000.00. Trip includes two (2) tickets to one (1) US Open Snowboarding event (determined by Sponsor), round trip coach class airfare from major airport near Winner's home to Vail, CO, 2 nights hotel accommodations (one standard room double occupancy), and ground transportation to/from Vail, CO airport/hotel. Winner and guest must be available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor (currently planned for March 1 – 3, 2013) or forfeit the prize. The US Open Snowboarding Championship event tickets, air transportation and hotel accommodations will be at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

Entry Period 12 - One (1) Winner will receive a 3 day/2 night trip for two (2) to a "Choose Your Experience Snowboarding Trip" Package. ARV: $5,000.00. Trip includes round trip coach class airfare from major airport near Winner's home to selected resort destination, 2 nights hotel accommodations (one standard room double occupancy) and may select from one of the resorts programs: Learn to Ride, Powder, Freestyle, or the Academy Experience at Northstar (programs may vary by resort. Travel must be completed by March 30, 2013. Winner can select from the following resorts: Jay Peak in Jay, VT; Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY; Camelback in Tannersville, PA; Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ; Beaver Creek in Vail, CO; Northstar in Truckee, CA; Bachelor in Bend, OR; Martock in Nova Scotia, Canada Glen Eden in Ontario, Canada, or Boreal in Truckee, CA.
