Contest Rules
The contest will run from September 15th to October 15th. The grand prize will be awarded to the Monkey Writer who has the most entries on October 15th at 11:59 p.m. To earn entries simply invite your Facebook friends to one of your stories. You will receive one entry for sending an invite and an additional entry if your friend joins Monkey Writers. New users will also receive and entry for signing up. They in turn can invite their friends and earn entries. You can keep track of your contest entries on the Monkey Writers home page. Simple right? Then what are you waiting for?
Prizes
Grand Prize: This one is up to you guys. We will seed the contest with a $50 amazon card. For every 100 new users we will increment the grand prize by a dollar up to an additional $100. To win the grand prize is simple. Have the most entries on October 15th at 11:59 p.m.
Consolation Prizes: Each entry you receive will earn you chance at winning a limited edition Monkey Writers T-Shirt. We will give out several of these so keep those entries coming. Throughout the contest we will post weekly T-Shirt winners on our Facebook Community page.

Monkey Writers is a new social app that allows users to collaborate with friends to create
stories - we call them Monkey Tales. These tales can be funny, serious or just downright dumb. Either way, it's a blast!
Here's how it works: One user creates a story and invites their friends to participate. Friends that choose to participate can add to the story up to 140 characters at a time (or more by spending your monkey coins). The creator of the story can end the story at any time - or - anyone can bid on the last word. Imagine writing a funny biography about your friend (or favorite politician) and letting friends add to the story.
Tales can be made public and published to the library. You can rate published stories from 5 bananas if you really like it to flinging poo at it if it's really bad.
