Lounge Doctors. **UPDATE** surgery is complete.

My husband has been having trouble keeping food down for months now. He has dropped below 130 pound now. His Gastroenterologist scoped both ends last month and ran a bunch of other test with no findings. So today we went in for a ultrasound on his tummy. We have not heard anything from his Doctor yet. I was looking over the technicians shoulder as she wrote her notes. She wrote that he appears to have a occlusion in his SMA.
I googled it and came back with Occluded Superior Mesenteric Artery Has anyone ever heard of this. It sounds like the cure is some sort of surgery to fix it. Tell me I'm wrong.

All I seen was the technician wrote that he appears to have a occlusion in his SMA.
We should be hearing back from the Doc soon I hope.
Maybe she is wrong or that SMA has more then one meaning.

I'm not religious, so can't pray....but I'll be hoping for the best.
