All I see is a bunch of retards pretending to be PBS viewers because Mitt Romney doesn't like PBS and wants to get rid of the CPB.
Seriously, fark the whole lot of them. I hope they all die choking on ham sandwiches.

I think you are misunderstanding me.
![]() I hate the all of the people who are part of the new PBS is cool, and I am also cool because I watch PBS trend. The old viewers, the ones who are loyal viewers are the ones that I have real respect for. These people, the new fans are no different than the people who didn't care for/hated America before 9/11 and suddenly became neocons right after the towers were brought down. And just so you know, I watch the newshour ever night, and most of the their primetime programs. I've got much love for my local PBS and NPR stations even though they have tried to censor programming and love to pimp the catholic church on their channels. |

Ahmandinejad will be out of office next year, we can only hope that someone a little more reasonable takes over the presidency.
As far as bailing out U.S. companies, I think we had no choice. It was either bailing them out or letting them fail and worsening the economy and financial state of the country.
With regards to our kids not being able to read, you can blame that on the parents and all the cuts to the school budgets. But primarily, you HAVE to blame the parents. I have kids and my son starting reading at 3 yrs of age. That's because I sat with him every night and went over the basics. And, I worked 6 days a week and got home close to 7 pm every night. So, you can't say that work prevented me from being a good parent!
You are absolutely right about parental involvement and school achievement. Money has very little to do with the quality of an education. It is has mostly to do with examples set and expectations to put in the effort.
I agree that Romney could have used a better example than Sesame Street, but take a good look at my name. It is not just a name plucked out of the air. I am an artist and believe me when I tell you that creativity is born mostly from exploration. The more resources, the less need for invention. I'm not saying that the arts should be cut to the bone. I'm saying that there is fat in every program.
As for the bailouts? They put themselves there and they should have faced the consequences. Their CEOs were getting paid gross amounts of money and not producing viable products. It's time that EVERYONE is held accountable for their work ethic and productivity. Unions were instrumental in forging safe work environments for decent wages. Now, many of them have throttled companies to the point of bankruptcy. Who pays for that? Taxpayers and consumers. It's a nightmare of a merry-go-round and it has to stop somewhere.
Oh, and Rupublican tax cuts for the rich? See whom will most be affected when the tax breaks are not renewed. 47% of Americans don't pay taxes 47%!!!! That is plain crazy! I'm all for a national sales tax. The more you consume, the more you pay. Those with the most to spend will naturally pay more, but everyone contributes. Our economy would stabilize and then programs for the truly needy, not the truly lazy, would be available and much more effective.
Oh,

But, I think when a politician throws out that number, it gets spun by the public and media. And, ppl think that 47% represents average adults out there just working and not paying taxes. Romney himself made it out like it's a bunch of lazy Americans who would be in an uproar if all their free ride(s) would be taken away.

Oh,
What Romney said was that it didn't make sense for him to put effort in to trying to sway the votes of people who would be most likely to continue voting to get free stuff from the government. It was the typical liberal response to latch on to the quote and spin it for those who can't think logically for themselves.
