Seriously, if you just do basic cleaning with regular household products (you DON'T need harsh, residual chemicals or all the expensive crap they'll try to sell you all the time) and wash your hands regularly with any kind of soap (preferably one without all the harsh chemicals), you'll be fine.

I swear, the marketing from the last few decades is freakin' genius. It has everyone scared to death and they keep buying "antibacterial" products by the millions because some commercial convinced them it's "better."
I don't wash my hands with soap, unless I am showering... Or it gets very dirty.

My parents' older lab loves to shred cardboard, specifically paper towel rolls. She rips them into tiny pieces but it's never very hard to clean up. If you don't mind a handful of soggy cardboard pieces that is. laugh out loud Keeps the dog busy for 15 minutes usually though.
