Dick's Sporting Goods Get Winter Ready Sweepstakes ~ 12/1/12

Sweepstakes starts at 2:00 pm Eastern Time ("ET") on November 5, 2012 and ends at 11:59 pm ET on December 1, 2012 for entry online and on December 3, 2012 for the postmarking of a mail-in entry.

Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who as of the date of their entry into the Sweepstakes are thirteen (13) years of age or older.

Sweepstakes consists of two (2) separate random drawings, each with its own prize to be awarded as detailed below.

There are two (2) ways to receive entries into a Random Drawing in the Sweepstakes; an Original Entry (as defined below) online, as well as Game Play Entry (as defined below) available either online or by mail. Details of entry are as follows:

ORIGINAL ENTRY: During the Online Entry Period log on to the website at www.getwinterready.com and follow the directions for entry, by filling out the entry form, providing your first and last name, date of birth, email address and specify which Random Drawing you are entering. By completing the foregoing you will receive one (1) Original Entry in the specified Random Drawing.

GAME PLAY ENTRY: In addition to the Original Entry, you are also eligible to receive additional "Game Play Entries" in a Random Drawing in this Sweepstakes either online (as follows) or by mail (detailed below).

How To Receive Game Play Entries At The Entry Site: In addition to the one (1) Original Entry, you are also eligible to receive"Game Play Entries" in a Random Drawing in the Sweepstakes by logging on to the Entry Site during the Entry Period and playing ("Game Play") the "Get Winter Ready Sweepstakes" Game as directed. If at the time of your Game Play, you have not yet completed the Entry Form, you will be prompted at the end of completing the Game Play to do so. By completing your Game Play in a time according to the schedule posted at the Entry Site and completing and submitting the Entry Form, you will receive the applicable number (1, 2 or 3) of Game Play Entries in the specified Random Drawing.

GAME PLAY ENTRY BY MAIL: To earn Game Play Entries in a specific Random Drawing without playing the Game, on a postcard, hand print (no mechanical reproductions accepted) first and last name, street address, city, state, zip code, email address, telephone number, date of birth and the specific Random Drawing you wish to enter. Mail your completed entry to: "GET WINTER READY SWEEPSTAKES" – GAME PLAY ENTRY, P.O. Box 6041, SHERMAN OAKS, CA 91413. By completing and submitting a postcard as detailed above you will receive three (3) Game Play Entries. ALL GAME PLAY ENTRIES SUBMITTED BY MAIL MUST BE POSTMARKED BY DECEMBER 3, 2012 AND RECEIVED BY DECEMBER 8, 2012.

THERE IS A LIMIT OF ONE (1) ORIGINAL ENTRY AND THREE (3) GAME PLAY ENTRIES PER PERSON PER DAY FOR THE SWEEPSTAKES REGARDLESS OF THE METHODS OF ENTRY. AN INDIVIDUAL IS NOT LIMITED TO ENTERING ONE (1) RANDOM DRAWING DURING THE SWEEPSTAKES, BUT MAY ONLY ENTER ONE (1) RANDOM DRAWING PER DAY DURING THE SWEEPSTAKES. AN INDIVIDUAL IS LIMITED TO WINNING ONLY ONE (1) RANDOM DRAWING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES.

One (1) potential winner will be selected in each of the two (2) Random Drawings from among all eligible Entries for each Random Drawing on or about December 12, 2012 by West Coast Marketing, an independent judging organization. The potential prize winners will be notified by email, telephone and/or overnight delivery by December 17, 2012.

PRIZES:

Columbia Sportswear Package Prize: (1 will be awarded): The Columbia Sportswear Package Prize consists of a Trip during the (currently scheduled) dates of January 31, 2013-February 3, 2013 for the eligible Prize Winner and one (1) Travel Companion to Deer Valley Resort in Park City, UT to attend the 2013 USSA Deer Valley World Cup mogul aerial competitions ("Event"). The Trip includes the following:
(i) roundtrip ("R/T") First Class airfare for two (2) from the major U.S. gateway airport (within the Eligibility Area) nearest the Prize Winner's hometown to Park City;
(ii) three (3) consecutive nights hotel accommodations (single standard room, double occupancy; room and room tax only) at The Lodges at Deer Valley;
(iii) VIP Passes to Event which include four (4) days of sking at Deer Valley Resort, three (3) VIP Dinners (night events) and select other events selected by Sponsor;
(iv) R/T airport/Hotel ground transfers in Park City;
(v) VIP Gift Bags (select items selected by Sponsor);
(vi) Omni-Heat head-to-toe outfit for two (2) people (from among available styles, sizes, colors and with specific items selected at sole discretion of Sponsor); and a $500 gift card good for food purchases at Hotel.
All airline flights, Hotel, and all other elements of the Trip are at the sole discretion of Sponsor or its designee(s). The ARV of the Prize is $17,500

North Face Package Prize: (1 will be awarded): The North Face Package Prize consists of a Trip during the (currently scheduled) dates of January 23, 2013-January 27, 2013 for the eligible Prize Winner and one (1) Travel Companion to Aspen, CO to attend the 2013 X Games ("Event"). The Trip includes the following:
(i) roundtrip ("R/T") First Class airfare for two (2) from the major U.S. gateway airport (within the Eligibility Area) nearest the Prize Winner's hometown to Aspen;
(ii) four (4) consecutive nights hotel accommodations (single standard room, double occupancy; room and room tax only) at The Little Nell Resort;
(iii) Passes for two (2) to Event and 2013 Powder Video Awards;
(iv) R/T airport/Hotel ground transfers via car service in Aspen;
(v) a $1,000 Visa gift card for meals (subject to all terms and conditions of use available at www.visa.com);
(vi) North Face head-to-toe outfits for two (2) people (from among available styles, sizes, colors and with specific items selected at sole discretion of Sponsor);
(vii) ski/snowboard rentals, lift tickets and private ski lessons at Aspen Mountain;
(viii) half day sking and riding with Tom Wallisch (subject to availability);
(ix) three (3) days lift tickets; and (x) access to The North Face VIP lounge.
All airline flights, Hotel, and all other elements of the Trip are at the sole discretion of Sponsor or its designee(s). The ARV of the Prize is $22,500.

Trip details for both prizes detailed above: Park City and Aspen may be referred to herein as a "Destination City". The actual value of each prize may vary depending on city of departure, dates and times of travel, airfare fluctuations and Hotel charges at the time of travel bookings. Therefore, the actual value of the prize awarded may be lower or higher at the time it is fulfilled. Any difference between actual value and stated ARV will not be awarded. Travel is subject to the restrictions and conditions set forth below. Prize Winner must be able to travel on dates specified by the Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and no additional prize element substituted. Dates of travel are subject to change. If Prize Winner is unable to travel on dates necessary to attend Event (as determined by Sponsor), prize will be forfeited in its entirety and no additional prize element substituted. If Prize Winner for a specific prize lives within 150 miles of the applicable Destination City, the airfare portion of the Trip will not be awarded and no additional prize element substituted. Any costs associated with prize receipt and/or use that are not expressly stated above are not included in the prize and are the responsibility solely of the Prize Winner and his/her Travel Companion. Such costs may include, without limitation, any additional ground transportation in the United States, any unspecified federal, state or local taxes or government surcharges or fees, trip and travel insurance and premiums, excursions, meals, drinks, incidentals, gratuities, telephone calls, charges for changing dates or other personal costs and expenses not specified herein and are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner and his or her Travel Companion. All travel arrangements are to be administered by Sponsor or its designee. Prize Winner and his or her Travel Companion will be required to travel on identical itineraries including the same departure city, departure date, destination and return date. Prize Winner and his or her Travel Companion will be required to provide valid government issued photo ID at time of travel as required by TSA, airport or airline personnel. If Prize Winner elects to travel or partake in Trip with no Travel Companion, no additional compensation will be awarded. Air transportation and Hotel accommodations must be taken together and cannot be taken separately. No changes will be made to travel details once any element(s) of the travel arrangements have been booked except at Sponsor's sole discretion. All airline tickets issued in conjunction with prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles or any other promotional benefit. Sponsor or its designee will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates or similar items once they are in the Prize Winner's possession, or in the possession of the Prize Winner's Travel Companion. Prize travel is subject to capacity controls, availability and certain other restrictions, which may include a Saturday night stay, all of which are subject to change. No stopovers are permitted on tickets issued as the Prize; if a stopover occurs, the Prize will terminate and full fare will be charged from the stopover point for the remaining trip segment(s), including the return. Once Hotel and flight arrangements have been confirmed, no changes will be allowed except by Sponsor; any such changes, if allowed, will be subject to change fees. Any unclaimed and/or unused prize travel package will remain the property of Sponsor. Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable and have no cash value.
